Funny you mentioned mice, my problem was mice chewed my wiring to the coolant temperature sensor a little over a year ago. My car insurance company paid to repair it but I think they just spliced the wiring and that’s possibly my new problem. Now my oil temperature sensor is throwing the code. I can’t find videos anywhere for my engine. It’s the bigger one than the 2.4 L that you have. I need the 3.3 Lamba engine for a 2015 Sorrento SX. Apparently, that is impossible to find.

Hi, the temperature light on my 2012 Kia Forte is red even when I start in the morning engine is cold at that point. Why is that so? I just bought the vehicle, I'm accustomed to other vehicles temperature light being blue at cold start.
