- The Almera/Versa Body Kit finally came in the mail from Malaysia and as promised I wanted to upload a video of the process to the best of my ability for all you guys out there thinking about doing the same.
THE NISMO NISSAN BODYKIT IS REALLLLLL!!!!!!!!
Man dope vids! Subscription earned!!!
Thank you. I've gotta make a new video soon. Ive been in aviation maintenance tech school. Battled "Long COVID" making a comeback, building a giant drone at the moment.
Where did you get the body kit? I'm having a hard time finding anything i like.
Will it fit a 2016 Nissan Versa?
Yes. It's the same as a 2015
Where did you get the grill or did you just put the plastic under the original
Yes. I ordered honeycomb material on eBay, made a mold of the original frame, melted milk jugs and plastic lids for the cast. Spray painted with piano black enamel (high gloss? I think) it clips in but I also used zip ties because I wasn't sure how strong the plastic would be. It's still all together.
I am looking for the front bumper from somewhere I can't find it. But from the Almera N-Sport front bumper. I just picked up a 2018 manual n17 versa with 21k miles. I love it and looking for more versa fans. I'm out of Texas. I build Hondas and doing a Nissan this time around. Awesome seeing other US versa fans. Your car looks good. Which front lip is that?
Awesome! Is it the Japanese version or Thai? It's really hard to find info out there for those. I mean it's not in one place, but it exists. Search engines just don't seem too keen to pick up on keywords from other countries. I took 4 years of Japanese in Highschool so I can get around a bit, whole country of Japan is a giant convenience store. eBay.jp is the best way to search import parts because many of the sellers are willing to ship globally, usually you will have to pay for tariffs and added shipping and wait 4 months it adds up. The n17 is the 3 cylinder 1.5L right?
I've been suffering with long COVID and I think I'm finally getting a little better.
@@versag3776 nah that body kit is the one piece the website you got it from wants 2k in shipping 😂
@@Demonsinful they raised prices, and yeah shipping costs went up substantially since I bought it. Thai dollars are like pennies of our money so yeah you may get the body kit for cheap but you will always pay as much or more for international shipping.
@@Demonsinful however you may be able to find a cheaper shipping service than the one that they offer. If you track an international shipping container transit they stop through Thailand for Chinese made goods .. this is because Chinese faux companies are trying to avoid export bans on fake products so they ship them to Thailand to confuse importing countries on country of origin. There's a good chance of negotiating with one to import with their cargo for way less. It's riskier though, if it gets siezed you'd be at a loss as it sits and waits on hold at customs to clear. They also might just steal it. (That's what happened with two carbon fiber bicycles I was shipping from China on AliExpress-$400 loss)
Almera parts are the only way we can make the versas look better. Looking to buy a set of juke nismo recaro seats. Manual versions to swap
Any updates?😎👌🔥versa moffia!🤣 i got a 18 sentra but same sh_t🤷
Where I get the lip I need one for my sv 12 1.6L
Does this work with 2015 versa?
My car is a 2015 Versa lol
@@versag3776 damn 😂
Where you get it at?
Can you provide info on where you bought it?
I bought it from www.rstyleracing.com. It took me over a month to find a site through searching that would accept PayPal (at a small upcharge) and ship internationally, so the transaction wasn't sketchy. The people spoke Thai language and had broken English so I used Google translate to message them.
Here's the link:
rstyleracing.com/en/product/body-kit-nismo-v2-style-for-nissan-almera-2014/
I'll post it in the descriptions, they have a wide variety of options and will even paint to match
I got on that site and they want like 3500$ just to ship it to the US
@@chrismosley7005 maybe they changed the price, but that sounds steep. Did you check the currency conversion? It should be listed in baht. I think I payed about $700 shipping over boat.
Do you still got the body kit if so are you selling it?
I have it, it was about $1200 shipping alone was $600. Maybe I can make a mold and sell it cheaper because with the import price, tariffs and international shipping insurance rates raise Costs significantly. Raw Materials and paint aren't that expensive. This body kit was made out of a cheap brittle plastic. But I still think it would be significantly less DIY. If it were made of carbon fiber, it might get more expensive I learned how to do carbon fiber epoxy molding for aviation at AIM you have to layer the twill at least three ply with the middle layer at a 45° angle.
@@versag3776 ok if you do make a mold of the bodykit I will buy it, I been looking for a bodykit for my 2013 versa sedan.
Let me know if you sell the kits as well I been modifying my versa as well
Soon I’ll be importing full cat back system for an almera
i know your fucking voice broooooooooooo
