Cool stuff man, I will definitely consider one of these in the near future. Also, thank you for using MM in your feeds and speeds.

Excellent performance!! Not sure if you have noticed but you achieved almost 50cm^3/min MRR with the 6mm endmill in alu. I am monitoring this part of the CNC market and your price to performance ratio is kick-ass, order of magnitude better than Bantam, not to mention Carvera, and other competitors.

Wow ive been looking into this machine and for the price and quality. Im gonna consider buying this very soon. Im in the US and most companies that are making mini desktop cnc are selling them for a ridiculous amount. 10k plus..... I understand the price for a larger machine but something that is considered desktop doesn't make sense at those prices. Looking forward to buying one.

Great video! I love this little machine and could push it to its limmits.. Are you sure that spindle is running at 24,000 RPM??? Or the feed rate is correct??? Something seems off? Anyway.. great machine and videos!!!

Yup, anything sped up is noted in the bottom left. These are 24,000 RPM spindles that are excellent to run at max RPM in aluminum with end mills around 6mm diameter and smaller. One thing to note about federate is that for small movements there may not be enough travel for the acceleration curve to get up to full speed, so many of the tiny directional changes occur before the whole axis can get up to speed. For the longer travels (like the initial facing operation) you can see and hear the speed of the axis level out before it completes each "line" of travel, so those are full 10,000mm/min movements.

Have you done any experiments with long stickout? I have a part I need to make BUNCH of, but it requires a 2.5in deep, 1.75in diameter hole in steel. Wondering if I can chuck a 1in endmill in this bad boy with 2.5in of stickout and get to the bottom of that hole eventually.

Based on your excellent videos and presentations I bought one. How long to ship out? I’m in Ontario just a few hours south. Looking forward to receiving it

@@shariffdmc3406 Great. I’ll try to document the build process on UA-cam. If you need a supplier for steel made in Canada, drop me a line. I have trucks going to the GTA often and cost per pound is very competitive.

Really interested in this machine..... Using your standard settings can you test the deflection of the machine with them loads?
Im very new to cnc so please forgive me if my terminology is incorrect.
