    Saw your ad on SM for the first time this morning and I get ads regularly from desktop CNC companies. Yours is by far, the most promising one I have seen to date. Hoping that after 2 years, all of the kinks have been sorted out and it doesn't become a "yer on yer own" experience when I get to purchasing.

    So refreshing to see transparency when it comes to this mill most companies would never show this. im building a very similar machine but abit heavier with the same spindle if I can even get close to the quality of this machine I will be quite happy.

    This is amazing testing, it must have taken forever to put this together. The tiny end mills surviving tells a huge amount about the machine and how good it is. The spindle bogging down is to be expected, and even with that the results are pretty great for how inexpensive the machine is. Great stuff

    The New machine is looking beautiful and I can deffinitly see you put many hours and hard work in to the improvments, Wish i could afford one though maybe one day. best of luck on the new machine and i hope they sell like hot cakes

    Solid design. I would be proud of a tabletop mill capable of these cuts.

    Really interested in buying this machine. Just wanna make sure you're still around and supporting these machines? Haven't seen you post in a while.

    I would love to see a video cutting threads and include results in feeds and speeds chart.

    Looking amazing. I worked with some small mills like the emco 50, and found them to be terrible. Max spindle speed 2000 rpm! This looks light years better.
    Just wondering what kind of spindle configuration this uses; Is the collet held in with a tapered tool holder? Would a mid op tool change require removing the tool out of the collet and resetting tool offsets? Thanks, this looks incredibly enticing for a home shop.

    You created a solid desktop machine and although I can't afford one I still wanted to support you by buying something but when I went to your site to look into purchasing the 10mm insert mill the store section of the site is blank so is the accessory link. I look forward to seeing people push these machines and what they make with them. Great job Sir!

    Seems like the spindle is the weak link, you could push a lot of these cuts harder with a spindle that could generate more torque to maintain speed

    do you use carbide insert for aluminum and carbide insert for steel or you the same insert for both material?

    I’m loving this but I have a question! How slow can you run the spindle?

    Are you planning to sell replacement spindle bearings? How long will they last?

    • @shariffdmc3406
      @shariffdmc3406  3 роки тому

      I will have all parts stocked for any replacements if needed. So far there have been no issues with the spindles (from the DMC1 machines as well) after years of use.

    At around 5-6 minutes the Mrr shows same value but step over is 0.2 vs 0-3. I am not familiar with Rmm but would that not be larger with larger step over and all other parameters the same?

      I’m guessing not great considering half the comments on this video have gone unanswered and there has been no social media presence for months and months. 🤔

      It is a water soluble coolant from Qualichem. More details on how to prepare coolant coming in the DMC2 training course.
