Most Beautiful Beach in Cuba? (Trinidad)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 10 січ 2017
- Where is the best beach in Cuba? We discover Playa Maria Aguilar, just outside of Trinidad which is one of the nicest beaches I've ever seen (and way less crowded than Varadero or Playa Ancon). This beach is a little bit off the beaten path and a real escape. This is the third of my four "American Traveling in Cuba" vlogs. Leave any questions about Cuba below and I'll try my best to answer them.

It's so good you are making an effort to speak Spanish. Makes the entire experience all that much more *AUTHENTIC*, does it not. I have been to Trinidad in 1983 and 2012 and I wish to return. Found the only 4LEAF CLOVER I have ever seen in my life in Trinidad when I was 18 !
Just saw this message ! Yes, I studied Spanish for over 3 years, and boy did I need it. Thanks !
Man I love those old cars. Too cool!
Yes, I was just complaining today about not seeing any in Mexico..
What a gorgeous beach and beautiful sunset. We have got to get down there!
Yeah, totally worth a trip.
Beach looks amazing! I really prefer going to beaches that are off the beaten path versus the regular tourist spots.
Yes same here! I hope you enjoy Cuba when/if you go!
What a nice beach! I don't think i'd be able to be without internet for a long time. A week or so is fine, but more than that I'd start going crazy.
Which is exactly what started happening to me, lol.
Here Be Barr ya but in Cuba is hard to find even the basic things. Mexico does not have old cars but it has things that you'll have hard time finding in Cuba. I'm mexican and just got back from Cuba after 30 days traveling in Cuba.
Envidia de la buena, sigue disfrutando de ese paraíso, saludos
Gracias!!
great music choice on this vlog, really feeling the Cuban vibe now.Wow that sunset at the end!
Thanks I worked hard to include lots of Cuban beats.
gracias! amigó .
I use to watch videos from my country and if they are in english much better because i's a good way to practice. Thanks for posting!!
De nada :) Practico mi espanol con videos en tu idioma tb.

such a beautiful sunset
One of the best i've ever seen.
Is there taxi at the beach to take you guys back. It looks very isolated and beautiful. Thank You!
Cuba is beautiful and the people
Beautiful! I loved Cuba when I was there a few years ago.
Wow, where did you go?
Went to Cayo Santa Maria and spent a couple days in Santa Clara. It was only 8 days so didn't get to see much, but what I did see was stunning!
awesome video man, Cuba looks amazing! Can't wait till I go there soon :)
Thanks Dima. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
thanks Jon! looking forward to the next one!
wow amazing, Cuba is beautiful
It sure is.
Great Video" Fantastic...
Gracias!
I'm heading to Cuba tomorrow and will be in Trinidad next week. So glad I found your video today as we planned to go to Playa Ancon but this seems like a much better choice. I've heard sand fleas and mosquitoes have been an issue at Playa Ancon early in the morning and come late afternoon. Since you stayed for the sunset did you have any problems at Playa Maria Aguilar?
sara superherō at ancon I got bitten by a few mosquitoes . At Maria Aguilar I brought insect repellent (bring it from home ) and had 0 problems .
Good to know, the insect repellent is already packed, thank you! Watched all your Cuba videos and they were super helpful.
So enjoying your Cuba series and learning a lot! How did you travel from Havana to Trinidad and if I only have four night (5 days) in Cuba is it worth the trek?
I took a collective taxi (4 other people) from Havana. Took like 3 hours? If i only had 4 nights in Cuba I would not make the trek, it would be to much for me. I'd rather explore the Havana area completely.
How far is Trinidad from Havana? Great videos by the way!
Thanks. About 4.5 - 5 hours by colectivo taxi.
Great Vlog series! Glad I found you, just subscribed lets connect.
Thanks!
This beach is beautiful! How far is it from Havana?
It's about 20 minutes from Trinidad which is 5 hours from Havana. It's only worth going to if you're spending time in Trinidad.
Nice Vid. How long and how much to go from Havana to this Trinidad Beach?
I don't know if you can take a direct colectivo/taxi to this beach. i'd stay in trinidad at least 1-2 nights. Havana to Trinidad is 4-5 hours, i think it was $25-$30 by colectivo taxi. Any casa particuluar or hotel can arrange it. From Trinidad the beach is 15 min by taxi.
oh wow. I may have to pass, this time. I will only be in Cuba for 5 days, not counting 2 of those days traveling. Thanks for the fast response.
Heading there for ten days in late February. Plan on spending 3-4 days in Trinidad. Would you recommend staying in Trinidad or at LaBoca. also, most websites say plan on $100 per day budget - did you find that true?
$100 a day maybe if that's including your casa particuluar (30-40$ a night max and 2 big meals out).. But i think you can get by on 50-70 easily. I would lean towards Trinidad because it has a ton to do and it's near the beaches as well if you want to escape, like 20 min away or less.
When I went to Cuba people were asking me for other items items which I give away and latter I find out that was illegal to do so.
Hey are you uploading your vids from Cuba
Nope i'm in Mexico! It would take me 24 hours to upload from there and when internet costs like 2-3$ an hour.. lol no thanks.
How does it feel to travel solo?? I have never done that before. I was planning a trip with my boyfriend to Cuba but his work won't let him take time off. I still want to go by myself but I'm a little scared! Is there lots to do or will I feel lonely? Hoping that it will be a safe place for a woman travelling alone... Thank you!
I don't think it's an unsafe place to be alone. If you can make friends like I did on a walking tour , or just around the city that would be good. It depends on your personality. I'm generally social so I can make friends fairly easily. I would use some common sense precuations, don't get to drunk especially because you are a girl by yourself. But I think you'll be ookay.
Thanks for such a quick reply!!! I really want to get out and break my fear of travelling alone and I think Cuba would be a nice place in the Caribbean to start since I live in such a cold place like Canada and just want to enjoy some warm weather! Haha thanks for your response and your amazing videos!!
in cuba no solutions only problems hahahahah
Dud they don't need post card they need money give them a couple dollars next time
It's much better to bring old clothes, shoes, toothpaste, or canned food, they need everything over there and they appreciate it all
I wouldn't spread gifts to the cuban people. I am cuban myself, born and raised in Placetas Cuba. Reason being is that Cubans will take advantage of your nice gestures. Most cubans are now very spoiled and expect gifts because of people like you. No offense...
Andry Hernandez especially post cardes from NYCity!
gracias! amigó .
