Let's talk about the elephant in the room - the exhaust. I do not have any desire to change the exhaust on this car. We mostly use this car for road trips and distance driving, and when you are in the car for 10+ hours, you start to appreciate a quiet exhaust and good sound deadening/ insulation. Maybe I'm getting old, but that's my preference. The FR-S is a different story though. We are currently shopping for an exhaust for that. Expect a DIY soon!
Agreed. I have a e90 lci 328i, I’ve thought about changing the exhaust many times. But after making a 1800 mile trip across the country I was glad I didn’t lol.

I say "IF" you were to change it, just get the M Performance Exhaust! Only thing I did to mine was unplug the vacuum cord in the trunk to get the beefier sound constantly!
The OEM Performance exhaust has ZERO drone and sounds perfect. I’ve had mine for 20k miles. Well worth finding a used one for $600-800 on the forums. They have been discontinued unfortunately.

I’ve been watching your bmw videos since you started on it but i had an rx-8 at the time im 22 now but i was just really wanting a manual car and i got it cheap knowing what i was getting into haha luckily enough my dad is into cars always helps me and we got rid of that thing traded for an automatic(sadly) 325i it was nothing special i just needed a daily and i love how your car looks and your editing is awesome its always fun to watch you work i am currently saving for a new car and bmw and infinity is what im leaning towards now hell even an si just to drive a stick at this point 😂

Hey Justin. Did you use the same bracket/holder for the rear bumper to install your M sport bumper on? Or did you install holders especially made for the M bumper? I am talking about the holders that are mounted at the side of the car.

About to replace my bumper, do I need to buy m sport bumper guides or does it just clip right to the factory and does this bumper fit XI models?
Do you not need different brackets for this rear bumper install? I was told that my 2007 335xi would need an updated bracket to hold each side of the M Sport bumper?

Yo bro i got a problem with my beemer. Sometimes it makes a weird noise from the engine. The sound is like a piece of plastic that is not fixed well, something similar like dash sound. Someone says that is from the air filter, a plastic is loose. When i press the gas pedal just a little bit the sound dissapear. U can hear it only in neutral. Can u guess what can it be?

I have a 2006 330xi i tried to code it and carista said that i couldn't modify anything through the ecu like with the videos you made making the halos brighter and all that, i did it to my friends 335 2009 tho? Any idea on why that is or is my 2006 not supported. I used a veepeak ble+ with carista pro, you think the official carly adapter and app would work?
I have the same car, 2006 330xi. I have the official Carly app. Maybe that's why

Why do you need to remove the tail lights? I didn't on my E60
There was a clip under each light that i had to pry up to get the bumper to come out. Im not sure if I could have done it with the lights in

I had Kies get it painted at the paint shop they use in NJ. I sent them my paint code and I mailed them the tow hook cover from my old bumper so they could match it as accurately as possible/

I litterally just got my 08 328i 2 days ago and then backed up into a fire hydrant trying to reach down for my phone 🤦🏻♂️ guess I got an excuse to put a new m3 bumper on it possibly. It was practically babied and like new too smfh!

I think the E93 tail lights are a different shape so this bumper wont fit
They make the bumper for E92/3 as well. Just have to select that option
Hey man, just a bit off topic here. I live in Europe and I have the same car with the same N52, but the 2.5 engine not the 3.0 like yours, and I noticed that your exhaust tips get a bit smokey as well, how much oil does engine take? Thanks bro, big up!
Those are both two pretty different engine even tho it might not seem so, the n52b30 is normally considered to be very reliable and has a few tiny issues, the n52b25 on the other hand literally had a built in defect, that makes it eat oil like crazy. For example, my B30 eats about 1L of oil every 4000km (with a leaky valve cover gasket, oil cooler gasket etc), which is considered high by b30 standards, on the other hand I've heard about B25s burning 1L oil every few hundred km
@@E9X330 I don't have the same issue though. I don't have any leaks whatsoever, and it burns about 1L each 3-4k km, depending on the way i drive it. I was just curious about Justin's oil consumption that's why I asked. For me so far the n52b25 has been very reliable :)
