All that just for a headlight... miss when you didn’t need to remove a bumper to get to a headlight...
I was just thinking the same thing...Needless to say when the light went back in I "deleted" some screws in favor of 2 sided sticky tape.

Yeah, all that for the headlights especially if you have the adaptive HID’s that constantly have ballast and modules going out. I’m swapping out the damaged lens covers, ballast, Halos, and changing over to LED’s. Those OG HID’s are a pain…
@ Tj Semeniuk I *had* a BMW. Loved the car - hated how ridiculous(and expensive) it was to work on. Won't buy another one. I've had my 'luxury car' phase, and don't need another.

Hey man, I've been watching your videos for a while, you're doing nice job. I'm living in SC, also thinking about getting my dealer license. I know, it depends from state to state, but don't you need to have a shop for getting dealer license? But I see you're working from your garage.
I did notice there is one torx that wasn’t highlighted in the video or for some reason only comes with the headlights on my e92, it’s after you disconnect all the ones in the video and pull it out a bit, and directly under facing the engine bay, very hard to get to and wish it was in the video
Having a hell of a time putting headlight assembly back in, any advice?

Hello Buddy’s DIY,
I purchased a Automatic 2006 bmw 325i (N52) from an auction and I must say the interiors do exterior is in mint condition.
The problem that I have is that it jerks as if someone Tapped you from the back before coming to a stop so in order to avoid that jerk I put it in Neutral.
I took it to a European mechanic shop and they claim that he needs a new transmission it’s kind of hard for me to believe that because it gears perfectly fine when driving it.
Any advice?

I had this exact problem. I have an 07 330i and I needed to replace the oil pan gasket and after it was replaced I had an awful jerk before coming to a stop but I took it back to the shop and it was just a software update

what are you using as a jacking point when jacking from the front middle?
To remove the screws from the wheel well to dislocate the adaptive headlights
Maybe yours was broken but there is actually a bottom bolt as well underneath the headlight that is the hardest to removed
was a pain in the ass had me confused, finally got it

I fried my FRM module by disconnecting the negative battery terminal :/ Having it repaired currently.
