- In this video I completely transform the look of my 2008 BMW 335i. It is a pre-lci sedan and I convert it to a LCI M Sport.
My goal was to make my E90 look as good as possible. I went for an OEM plus look here.
I am very happy with the outcome, it looks much more aggressive and it took years off the look of the car.

Finally ive found a video where someone completely turned it into a facelift especially with the previous kidneys which were separated. also planning my e91 from 2006 to change into lci. i didnt know only chaning the hood and kidneys would do the trick

Oh, and one is LCI and other is pre-LCI and 100% stock. So this is perfect.
I am basically doing the same thing to my 08 335i N54, E90 base 4dr sedan, but not sure if my car is pre LCI. (please explain the term) the car was inherited from girlfriend and I am changing out everything...engine, cold air intake system Pureturbo 600 turbos, Phoenix racing 6 port Fuel injectors., Beluga racing catless downpipes, Beluga racing catback duel exh, LED rear tail lamps, radiator, oil cooler, intercooler, headlights, lower air dam, Megan street coilovers, Stop tech cryo drilled slotted disc , painting the calipers, MFactory LSD diff and carrier, MFactory axles, fuel-it fuel pump and reg/filters, tires have 1"- 1.5" wider footprint BF goodrich tires. Until I began I never touched a BMW. YOUR videos are allowing me to do most of these removal / installs with ease. I use to race Chevrolet big blocks so I am not green but very to the great German engineering
Sounds like that thing is going to be a monster when you're done. LCI stands for life cycle impulse. Its basically BMWs term for mid cycle facelift. On E90s LCI starts in 2009. Good luck!
I actually like those mirrors. I had an 08, now have a 13 335is and I don’t really like the mirrors but I do love the black gloss they come with. I can tell they won’t fade like my old mirrors
Yeah is mirrors with black gloss caps would look pretty good on the sedan.

The car looks gorgeous now. Although, I think the license plate looks better in the MIDDLE than the side. I don’t like the offset look. The plate also sticks out more on the side.

Love your vids, and watch them all the time. So this isn't meant to be offensive at all, but I really don't think the front and rear bumpers were upgrades... That flat bottom on the front bumper looks terrible on this car. And the rear bumper has a different color where you would thing a diffuser would be, but it isn't. So... Still a good vid though.

Hi. I am just doing same upgrade on rockers panels. And found your amazing video. Mine didn’t have those longer white clips. Do i need those longer white clips throughout the entire length of the rocker panel? Or just 1 per side on that point where you showed it on the video? Thanks for your additional help!

great content awesome channel.I have a question about the n55 engine i put an n55 in my e90 that had a bad n52 got the n55 running.on the n52 msv80 computer set the valvetronic on n55 to max lift and unpluged sensor car idles fine revs fine but when i attempt to drive it goes into safemode is there anyway to prevent this to make it driveable the n52 computer was tuned for boost cause n52 that was in it was supercharged if you could give me some advise on how to make this work i would appreciate it THANK you

You need LCI rear hubs and shafts together if you want one or the other. Splines are different.

Where did u buy all the parts and u can just buy the lci hood and bumper and it’ll fit right up to my 08 328i e90

You can actually find them on Ebay or Amazon for around $80 painted.
Hello, where in the United States are you located? I would like to change the turbos on my 135i, and you have a lot of experience, how much would you charge for that job?
Why didn't you wipe and clean all that dust and dirt underneath the bumper and trim? The dirt could trap water and cause rust or corrosion in the long run.
So does the original headlights fit or not? I’m confused? Did you change the lights prior?
Don't you need a headlight cleaning system in America if you have xenon headlights?
Car came out great! But why spend this much money to do an entire car conversion when you can just get the LCI for less than you spent on every single part of conversion... but good video!

Well done LCI update. I was wondering why you did not go with the is front bumper, although you would lose your fog lights but gain more cooling if you added the is ducting. Not sure is the rear is bumper cover would work and the exhaust looks a little farther apart.
No one in Austin, including State Troopers cares I do not run a front plate. However outside in the suburbs, it might be quite different for revenue hungry LEO.
I was considering the 1M look front bumper originally but this M Sport bumper kit came up cheap not too far from me. Yeah I wish I didn't have to run that front plate.

Just done prelci xenon to lci xenon on my e92. All lights work but the leds such as the angel lights and indicators flicker constantly. No idea what to do. Voltage monitor checks have been turned off

Thanks, to be honest they're not in the best of shape and are not painted. I'd let them go but I think your money would be better spent getting a set of pre-painted ones off eBay.

Great content. Urgent question about the side skirts. Does the longer white clips have different plugs in the cars body or you just remove the green ones and they go in the body without any plug?

I own a pre-LCI E90 just like yours, can I just fit the LCI kidney grill on the pre-LCI M Bumper in order to install the LCI bonnet?

Although can’t find M bumper to LCI my car, luckily found a LCI tail for my E90. However, once I plug the original cable to the new tail light, blinker is normal but the reverse light didn’t turn on(in reverse gear). Is this a coding problem? Since both side is not turning on

Do you mean rear bumper? If you look for new onesmost will not say LCI, but the bumpers are identical between LCI and Pre-LCI!

You should check out the M2 replica bumpers for the E90's. I think they look really nice.
I was almost went with a 1M style bumper but the m sport bumpers came up local for cheap.
