I use a mini PC with the previous version of this CPU (Celeron N5095) as my work PC and I'm amazed how well it performs for such a small, cheap box. Obviously since it's a work PC I've not tried games on it, though!
Games are possible to play with upscaling A.I. This is how it works, you set the game on lowest resolution possible to gain the maximum fps you can get. Then you upscale the game to fit your tv or monitor. I highly recommended "Magic Borderless" to create artificial 720p, you go to modify to set on 1280x720 for 720p. Then use another app called "Lossless Scaling" to throw "FSR" and "HDR" on the game. Graphics cards are overrated and overpriced. Upscaling is king. As long as you can gain fps on lowest resolution possible. Upscaling will always work.

CPU performance is similar to i5-2300 or a little better than Snapdragon 750G, which is not bad at all. GPU is a bit shy of 400G flops, which is like the Switch?
Thank you so much for posting this video, I spent 2 days looking for it. The computer has an on/off button, but is there a way to turn it on automatically without pressing the interruptions button?
Did I miss that, or did you not address the noise of the mini-PC? Is the fan active when the device is in idle mode? How loud is the fan during office applications or web browsing? Is it an annoying sound, or is it not very annoying?
I would like to see if you can do a comparison between Windows 10 and Windows 11 performance and see if 11 is borking the performance of lower end cpu models like this little box. I know windows 11 isn't fully optimized yet either.
I want to pick one up to run PLEX on it . I have a few TB's of movies on an external HD I can plug into this thing. What do you recommend? Great review by the way !
If you're running Windows 11 It would be really cool to see how it runs Android games. Android might be a great way to add to the number of games you could play on something like this. And for people who don't know, Windows 11 has something called "Windows subsystem for Android" that allows you to run Android apps on your computer. ETA prime should have no trouble side loading a few games.
In my experience with android emulation on Windows 10, I'd not only rather do the emulation than move to 11, but if I had to I'd happily give away any possibilities of running android software if it meant avoiding 11.
I like the small size and might make a nice little mini htpc box with LibreELEC Kodi v19.x. I was also looking at the Asus PN41 with the N5100 (PN41-SYSF541PAFL) that I saw on CDW Canada for $394 CAD. Should I expect similar expectations with the Asus PN41?
Those are already well served by OEM monitor stand PCs like Dell's optiplex 7070 or regular All in ones. There's also the risk of it being stolen more easily because of size. Maybe pricewise it's competitive, but it has it's flaws.
i wonder how much noise it produced. I've used larkbox and M1t before but the some kind of high pitch noise keep makes me annoying. I hope this one has less noise
I’d love to see this running Retropie and Batocera. I’m also thinking of something like this to connect to my AtGames Legends Ultimate (BYOG) for pinball. Any thoughts on how it would handle Pinball FX?
I thought by now we get a video of it running botacera but I'll make a video soon been running mk x on it and bigbox and some other stuff this mini pc has been fun so far gamecube runs on it and wii at 720p lags in 1080p but not bad for a little pc
Could you take it apart and show some pictures of its internals? Any idea if there is a similar device with soldered storage but on the primary board, not on the IO board? I would like to run it without the io board if possible..
Which sizes of m.2 SSD 's will fit? Will also a 2080 (1TB) fit into this housing? What is the maximum m.2 size (from the dimensions) installable in this enclosure?
Will it actually do HDR (your YT only shows bt709)? I haven't gotten any trustworthy confirmation on whether that changed for Jasper Lake vs Gemini Lake in Windows.
How's Fallout3/New Vegas runs on this mini pc? I'm perfectly fine with 720p variable fps at medium low settings. As my 2014 netbook are struggling to run at playable framerate at low end settings. I'm mostly playing older PC games though so won't be needing that much performance.

6 minute late notification, here we go!
Noice, dem that mini PC is cool.
Btw what game did u used on testing gamecube?
Lol I thought the thumbnail was a house boat. XD
I was currently looking at boats =P
Would it be possible to hook up an external card to the m.2 slot? I would love to see a beast running on this
These tiny computes are all was cool.
I returned a similar unit with the 5095 for a barebones nuc11 i5.
Hope you get your Steam Deck so we can finally see some benchmarks.
A little bit more than a Pi4. Good one! 😂
How about the temperature of the unit when using it for web-browsing and youtube video playing, respectively?
Comparison to the Liva Q3 Plus embedded Ryzen box would also be interesting
Is the Chuwi LarkBox X next? Just heard it came out last month
Desktop background image ???? I NEED THAT WALLPAPERRRRR AAAA
Awesome. How does the performance compare to say a Surface Pro 7/7+ I wonder.
2:45 About the ram, it says "Slots used : 1 of 2". Can you upgrade the ram?
Also wondering about this? Can it be upgraded to 16GB?
How is this for digital audio visual stuff? Macromedia Flash, Pro Tools, and Reason?
ETA PRIME - Do you know if it's single or dual channel RAM?
This would be great for small businesses who don't wanna have big bulky towers everywhere.
Those are already well served by OEM monitor stand PCs like Dell's optiplex 7070 or regular All in ones. There's also the risk of it being stolen more easily because of size. Maybe pricewise it's competitive, but it has it's flaws.
It's on par with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Odin handheld
i wonder how much noise it produced.
I think it is possible
Careful with the angle grinder your hands seem to keep adding battle scares.
Wonder if it could work as a hackintosh. Also memory upgradable?
I thought by now we get a video of it running botacera but I'll make a video soon been running mk x on it and bigbox and some other stuff this mini pc has been fun so far gamecube runs on it and wii at 720p lags in 1080p but not bad for a little pc
Could you take it apart and show some pictures of its internals? Any idea if there is a similar device with soldered storage but on the primary board, not on the IO board? I would like to run it without the io board if possible..
Bro, I purchased this product. I can take it apart and show you
I might get an Intel version since I'm used to that.
Which sizes of m.2 SSD 's will fit?
Will also a 2080 (1TB) fit into this housing?
What is the maximum m.2 size (from the dimensions) installable in this enclosure?
Review the deck next!
Are the 8Gb RAM running in dual channel? Their website claims a maximum of 12Gb capacity, but I can't find a manual or schematic anywhere
I knew that companies will try to market old processors in different way like Mini PC.
I would like to know if this mini pc would be worthy of getting to run blender and Krita also visual studio code. Thanks
