This would be so perfect for my upcoming home theatre! Why spend 50-100 USD on an android TV box when you can have full windows capability right on the wall! I don't think I will be able to get one right away unfortunately, but one day!
You may regret using a full Windows machine for that purpose the first time you want to use it and there's a Windows update that must be installed and the system rebooted. 🙃
@@jasonrdunn it has m.2 SSD. Windows updates don't take that long. And obv you can restart it when not in use.
I thought about the same, but I really would miss Chromecast. It's so nicely integrated with ANdroid TV, that I'm not sure Windows can replace it.
@@TechMishka, now that you reviewed the 4K Mi TV stick, I will probly go with that. Its just 50 dollars.
And later I will have go figure out how to cast games from my PC. Or get a long cable 😂
I've used a 50 dollar box as my daily driver for years. Sometimes a 20 dollar box works great for what you need. The fact that most gaming can be done via the cloud you don't need much more than a chrome stick device. So save your money ...Android...there is an app for that ( the old droid commercial )
Great review! How does this compare to the MeLE Quieter2Q Fanless Mini PC ?
Didn't have the chance to try the MeLe device yet.
It looks Awesome. How is Linux support?
BTW; great video man.
Yes, it can support Linux.
Hi, is there a boot on power option in the bios, so it can be started with a smart power switch? Thx.
I didn't find such a feature.
@@TechMishka thank you.
Can you tell me if the Celeron CPU is able to play Netflix 4K video over the browser?
Yes, it works alright. Often - if the CPU is overloaded, it is because it may not support the hardware codec that a service uses.
That's fantastic piece of hardware great review as well sir 👏
Indeed it is!
They should've gone with a side usbc. And make an accessories that adds more ports.
Agrees
@tech4all HI, can I use a touchscreen monitor with this computer?
If it is supported by Windows - why not?
Any suggestions on a mini PC with Thunderbolt 3? Not an Intel NUC (trying to save $$$). Thanks, and nice video.
Nothing I can think of right now. Sorry Pete.
TB is reserved by Intel to be in a "Premium" product (at least $1000 and up product), so no. I also want one, but still cannot get one.
Great video. How to use 2 monitor as the USB c is for power?
There is the second Type-C port which is for monitor connection. There are two of them.
@@TechMishka
Thanks for the review.
Input power 12V 2A right?
Thanks for this review! I didn't see the TDP setting in the images of the BIOS you showed, are you sure you can change it? Also, did you measure power consumption? I'm especially interested in idle power consumption.
Hehe TDP settings dont exist, and when he said that the bios was modern to today's standards, that's when I realized this company must have sent him a script and a payout because im sure this guy doesnt know a thing about computers. But I do like the idea that the computer can run on a portable pack.
@@Davidorino Yeah, I watched the Japanese review with subtitles on, and got a lot of good proper info, like that the case is really cheap plastic, the fan is extremely noisy and it sucks power even at idle. 10W if you please. Struck this one off my list right away.
It is around 10w.
As for the BIOS - yes, there are bunch of parameters you can change; Not UEFI, sadly.
Is there already smth newer since it was made?
Yeah, lots of new models are available
What video recording software are you using ?
OBS studio - most of the time.
Do you think this will be best for Plex media server?
Incomparable to a full size laptop for various reasons (graphics incl.),but I actually liked it a lot. Way too convenient and vfm . For remote access it would be a great solution.
Do you think this pc will work without fans? I want to buy this mini pc for small home server. But I am not sure will this pc handle temperature without coller.
I don't think it has any chance to work without the active cooling.
A bit too expensive for what I would use it for, but I like the concept!.
i just want a 2nd PC for streaming that isn't power hungry like i might look at 2nd hand laptops but still i hate laptops cos they break so eazy
This one can break too. But definitely not as easy as a laptop.
I am looking to convert an MPC Touch First Version into a portable, so I'm not spending $1,200.00 for the MPC Touch Live. The only issues I see is will the MPC verison 2.0 software runnig on Windows 11 and battery usage.
👍
At 2.21 what happens here? Is the bottom panel about to drop off? It does not seem to be fixed and it looks like some bottom screws are missing. I guess your warranty is already gone
I have already removed the screws - this is not voiding the warranty as you can use the slot for installing M.2 storage.
I checked online and this Morefine PC does not appear to be available in the UK.
I believe they will start selling it via their official website.
For the price, it's actually great.
Agreed!
how about usb c for high speed data with an external nvme drive.
It worked fine with a Sandisk device.
Is it possible for a 'dual os boot' concept sir?
Haven't tried that myself. Should be possible.
I love your channel. Just discovered it. I usually watch Linus Tips … I think i prefer yours now.
Hey Carly, thanks a lot for your awesome comment and trust.
Linus Tech Tips is among my favorite channels too; Linus is a great guy and there's a big team staying behing all these awesome videos on their channel - so their content is usually outstanding and while I hope to match their quality from time to time, I don't have the same capacity about volume of work 🙃
@@TechMishka hmm… both of you are my favs
@@TechMishka yours is unique quality video.
Will the Celeron N5105 be fast enough for smooth browsing, desktop office work, watching videos, and stuff?
Yes, it is good enough.
@@TechMishka That's good to hear. Thanks.
Using it since Dec 2022 and always smooth running. Yesterday all USB ports are not working, touch monitor, keyboard and mouse are frozen. Any idea how to resolve this? How to get to BIOS to reset USB ports?
Ouch 🤕 Could be a dead sysboard... Try to open and remove the BIOS battery to see if this will help
why do you call it Jasperlake instead of Celeron?
Since this can take Linux, can you make this? a Hackintosh?
Hi, are the fans annoyingly loud when playing 4k videos? I will have the pc about 3 metres away behind the TV
Depends on the codec and compression. I have noticed moments when it is noisy.
I guess for multimedia it is best to find something with passive cooling, like a Google TV stick.
I still prefer the Mele Quiter2Q fanless mini PC. It's about the same, without the fan noise, and it comes with 4 USB 3.0 instead of 3. Comes with Micro SD card slot, 2 HDMI ports, Gigabit ethernet and Windows 10 Pro (upgradable too).
It's next gen model have 16gb memory and USB c pd that would be great..
@Born To Sing With The Guitar sorry, I was referring to the next gen quieter 2 model will be like the M6 mini pc.. with 16gb ram and USB C PD functionality apart from it's included charger..
we should make modular laptops with this mini pc?
We should indeed!
love that feature!
Which one?

i'm not joking with this low energy, full tiny all have high usuable multifunctional simple computer.
Shape is eccentric who further rises all up on top of this kind of devices, looks amasing. Flat. Stable to stand. Having enough wholes ventilation. Lokks ellegant and beauty. All cut to fit
And own all ports is so important
I belive you can produce poor video on it, having entertainment, base of media in home low cost low price. It can substitute family album, studio, school or even cinema..
Excellent work really really good work,
You can do additional video demonstrates real adoption in use ports. I mean do camera in zoom, in what standard, what port, what version, what cost of what megapixels or quality for example. Just concept for another review. If you love so for that kind of practice.
It fells perfect for small simple person. Which is adorable
I really like the way it can be charged from a powerful but standard charger. I wonder what it's like for emulating old systems which would be my main usage? I have a very cheap ($25) Android box that just about runs PS1 games. Surely this can do better?
Your phone could prolly do ps2
👍
1:38 OMG repair the internet cable!!
Can you use your mobile or tablet as a monitor ? That would make it truly a portable desktop.
As long as it supports input from HDMI - yes. Can't think of such phones though.
@@TechMishka I had the Motorla Droid 3 ten years ago that had HDMI output (A thing I wish my CURRENT Moto had...) Never heard of a phone with HDMI input. Perhaps it's a "thing" on tablets? IDK. Small (7inch -15 inch) HDMI monitors though.

The Start menu in Windows 11 can be aligned to the left. I despise Windows 11 with the default position of the Start menu arranged like in Chrome OS.
Thank you for the review. Very informative, I'm interested in this product as a htpc, so I was hoping to hear some information of the CPU temratures, will it thermal throttle under heavy loads.
Also you mentioned the gaming part but didn't mention the display play back capabilities. Is it capable of playing 4k and will there be any dropped frames.
Adding such information would have made the review more comprehensive.
Good luck in your future reviews
THere are somne sections with HW monitor shown, I noticed that temperature doesn't exceed the maximum values listed there while gaming, which is good.
4K gameplay is possible, however a little choppy.
A question:
Morefine vs Mele?
Both offer similar quality.
Hi All ,
few questions :
1 - How safe are all these little computer boxes ?
2 - When shipped with Windows installed :
A - Is it a safe , Legit ,, updatable version ?
B - Do you have to change ANY administrator ,
settings , or passwords ,,, to make it "Safer" ?
3 - Has anyone ever come across any spyware ,
malware or such , installed on any of these small pc's ?
4 - Any brand names more reliable than others ?
Thanks for any help .
Have had a ChromeBOX in the past , so
interested in other small pc boxes .
Also , just read ,, some people re - install Windows
when first getting these . ( Guess to make it "safer" )
1. Safe in terms of what? Hardware is fine, Software - down to Microsoft.
2. Windows is fine. They use the same type of builds that are used with laptops. These are OEM versions with lower prices.
3. I did not discover any spyware. You always have the chance to install windows by yourself.
4. Beelink are a good vendor too. Morefine have also good reputation.
@@TechMishka .. Thanks for some info . When you say ,,, You always can install Windows yourself ,,,,, Is that RE - Installing it using a / the product key that came WITH the unit ? ,,,,, Or Do you have to wipe clean the unit , and install another purchased version of Windows ? .
Thanks .
I was REALLY excited until N5105 as I was rather hoping on a new N6005 system, so it looks like I'm still waiting...
Fair point, Pentium is Pentium. But ... isn't this particular one not that much better?
What if they put a snapdragon chip in there? Like the sd 888 for instance, wouldn't that be more powerful than the one in there?
Not sure how well an ARM based chip would do running X86 based Win11
Snapdragons are not that good yet. Windows is the other problem. I guess lately more and more things click for Apple.
Is the WiFi soldered or can be upgraded to 6E?
As far as I know - you can't upgrade the Wi-Fi.
Are you able to run android emulator on this? how many instance are you able to run at the same time? Thanks!

can we play 3 mir4 instances in that mini pc?
Not sure about this, mate.
would this work to add for an i3 1005G1?
You cannot swap the CPU.
I really love these mini PCs. They are affordable, don't use much power, and are fast enough for normal use. Honestly....good enough for anyone other than gamers or those who do video production.
👍
How about plugging it to an external GPU? Can be done?
