I find it interesting that all hosts of the "Password" franchise were on " Password Plus," Allen Ludden (who hosted the original "Password" on CBS from 1961-67 and then, the ABC revival from 1971-75) from January 1979-October 1980, Bill Cullen, who filled in for four weeks in 1980 when Allen went out the first time, Tom Kennedy, who took over PP from the ailing Allen (Allen would pass in June 1981) and would host until the show's 1982 end, Bert Convy, who would host "Super Password" from 1984-89 (the second longest "Password" run behind the original), and Regis Philbin, who would host "Million Dollar Password" (which saw the "Password" franchise return to its original network, CBS) in 2008, the shortest run of any of the "Password" shows.

There was one particular time on "Super Password" when Charles Nelson Reilly tried to use "secrety" for the word "sneak".

If I remember seeing the clip right, on an episode of "Super Password", Daphne Maxwell Reid tried using "buppies" as a clue for "yuppies". It was kind of weird if you ask me.

It would been even funnier when the guy said "they don't know from English" and the sound goes off. Bert should have said "you just piss the judges off on that comment."
