Would love to go out with you guys one day. I'm a local to Vegas and it's been hard for me to find some buddies to go out with me. Shoot me a message on Instagram if you're interested . DCprospecting
Nice gold! I'm out of Utah and stumbled upon your channel while researching a mountain range just on the Utah side of the state line. I don't know why the youtube algorithms led me to your channel and this video, but I'm glad they did. Is this area claimed? Anyhow, looking forward to future videos, I'm a subscriber now.
Thanks for subscribing Josh. I appreciate it. Yes this whole area is claimed we’re friends with the minors that own it and allow us to come over there a couple times a year and have an outing on their land it’s not far from UTAH I go over and look for trilobites by Notch Peak.
Never seen your channel before, but I love it! I love your energy and how excited you are, and also amazing filming and editing. Keep it up, you earned a new subscriber!
Very awesome my friend we have just found your channel and we like you a bunch so we are subscribing and we will let everyone know about your channel because you deserve it Thumbs up my new friend
It was such an amazing trip! We were brand new to the gold panning scene and everyone made it an incredible experience! We were so excited to find a little gold ourselves thanks to all your help!
@@joanrohner6562 sadly we canceled the club outing for September. :-( some members may still be going up but not chapter sanctioned. The weather is the issue. We’re having the regular pub meeting last Monday of this month and will discuss upcoming meetings then. Ralph
Oh! How disappointing. We were looking forward to it. We even bought a sluice. We’ll be in Vegas the last weekend. Maybe we’ll try to stay for the meeting. Thanks for the info! Joan
Two. Most of us, it’s a point of discovery when that black sand washes away, and there’s a little speck of natural gold, we pulled out of the ground ourselves. To me, it’s not the destination, but the journey for sure
Get yourself a vacuum backpack. When you expose the bedrock you can use it to suck up everything and requires very little effort. Dump straight from the vacuum pack to the classifier and then to your sluice. They run about 500 bucks, but let me tell you... they save ALOT of energy, especially after all that digging to expose the bedrock. Very informative video. Thank you for sharing.
I have to laugh at these comments. The biggest gold you’ve seen in Utah huh? Hate to burst that bubble but Kennecott is digging on a vein of gold that’s about 3’ wide and 16’ long, supposedly goes miles back
Lots of work for litte $. Whats that like 70 bucks. Hard pass. I am only interested in the money, and that ain't cutting it. Everyone is an expert these days ha ha. Lots of "experts" channels. When you make a living doing it then you got something. And at that point why bother with you tube? Atleast it seems like you are not salting the show like most others are doing.
Yeah, definitely no salt in the gold I post that’s why I don’t post that often. I don’t find it all the time. I agree if you’re out to try to make a living doing this, you’ve made a poor choice but that’s not why most of the people do it
It may not be for you. Its comparable to fishing.. do some research, buy some gear and go on an adventure. Instead of coming home with meat in the box, he has gold in his pocket. He's not trying to pay the bills with it, just a hobby.

I Always scan with a detector afterwards.

Where is the huge gold false advertisement
I have to laugh at these comments. The biggest gold you’ve seen in Utah huh? Hate to burst that bubble but Kennecott is digging on a vein of gold that’s about 3’ wide and 16’ long, supposedly goes miles back
Well kennocott is literally taking out an entire mountain so it’s not surprising they’d run into a few veins.
