This commercial played morning, day and night in 1996-1997. Couldn't escape it. This 2 minute version played more in the afternoon while the shorter one played at night
My mother bought this album in the late 90s, so these songs started to represent house cleaning days to me and my sister. She also had the other Pure Moods collection, Instrumental Moods. The funniest part is that my mother is a genX metalhead who's been to see Slayer and Metallica back in the 80s..her clashing tastes have always made me laugh.
This reminds me of staying up past bedtime Simultaneously falling asleep and ready to turn off the TV and pretend to be asleep at a moments notice. Dont tell my mom
There I was, the living room, 2am. Just beat 007 on N64, turn the TV back to cable. Girls Gone Wild advertisements are on rapid fire repeat, volume to 50% making it just loud enough I won’t wake the house with that shitty sound quality those commercials had. Then BOOM this war chant of Return to Innocents destroys the silence and now dads pissed. What a time to be alive
This takes me right back to 1996. College days and not a care in the world. Partying the night away and this would come on at 3:00 a.m. I wanted to order it so badly but it was expensive for that time. 😂😂😂😂
Man, this takes me back!!! I had forgotten that the themes to Exorcist & X Files were both included in these ads, lol. I was a freshman in highschool, at the time this came out, & man those were the days!! Mike "the horror geek" Bracken even mentioned these ads, in one of his videos.
Still listening to this CD to this day. Remember being about 8/9 and falling in love with this commercial in the 90s and now I am 34; it will never grow old. My family and I just enjoy the heck out of this CD.
This commercial takes me back to the Spring/Summer in the late 90’s when I was watching Nickelodeon on a Saturday evening as a kid. That music really was capturing. Ahhh the 90’s.
🤯 the songs on this cd was such mind-blowing and they are great too. Loved and I enjoyed each and every song on this cd. They had a little bit of each different type of music on here and it's a shame they didn't continue them. Is truly is a great collection
My dad was a bus driver in the '90s and one of his riders gave him this CD to listen to. This had to have been in '97. Anyway, that kid then stopped riding his bus to school...dad got stuck with the CD, and now it's in my possession nearly 26 years later. I still pop it into my entertainment system every now and then to jam out.
Man......I remember when this first came out, bought this bad boy and OMG...I played the hell out of it. It did calm my nerves after a crazy day. I need to re download it to listen to while sippin some wine and smokin my hookah!
OMG, I knew I saw this ad back then in the 90s but I saw it exactly once and eventually I thought I imagined the entire thing. So happy I found this again!
This commercial kind of scared me when I saw it on Nickelodeon nearly everyday on Nickelodeon in 1997. Adiemus and Tubular bells in particular were creepy. I’m glad I didn’t know tubular bells was from the exorcist at the time!
Not sure but it paid off with the most recent episode of The Boys! The Cult Church leader has Pure Moods because he was playing Orinoco Flow (Sail Away) while tryin to recruit! Lmao
Someone's bumper sticker brought me here. It read "Keep honking!! I fell asleep at the wheel listening to the 1994 new age compilation Pure Moods and I'm definitely gonna crash!!". And I graduated in 94 so i was curious 👍
Well, Tubular Bells is a beautiful peace, and I really wouldn't call it unsettling. Now The Exorcist as a movie? Never watching that again. Greatly disturbing
It's 5am on a Saturday why am i awake? Mom's gonna be mad i didn't sleep even tho I've got nothing on my plate today. What's on TV? TWO HOURS OF MAMA'S FAMILY?!?
This commercial is a core memory for an entire generation
💯
Omg
That's why I'm here.
I know it is for my generation!!!
Yes it is.
We really were in our Benedictine monks era.
This commercial would wake me up from a dead sleep when I’d fall asleep with Nick at Night on in the 90s. Good times.
Facts
NICK AT NIGHT! Holy shit that brings back memories.
Yes!!!
Yessir
Omg same
Nothing more relaxing than the Exorcist and X-Files theme songs.
😂
LMAOOO
It's direct from EUROPE! U know, somewhere in Europe.
Why you do this to me, Demmy?
Do you mean TUBULAR BELLS?!?!? 😂😂😂😂😂
Who else is listening in 2024!🎉
SAIL AWAY SAIL AWAY SAIL AWAY
It's 2024?
Well no other collection captures the mood better 😊
@@user-dj7hx9ev9mha
I still listen to this! 😁
Raise your hand if you heard this probably 10 times a night while playing on the internet all night long.
Chatting on aol chat rooms in the middle of the night back in 2001, with this album playing!
You guys ain't lying.. kinda miss those times
I saw it in the daytime during Nickelodeon
The night I downloaded that one mp3 song on Limewire...
This commercial played morning, day and night in 1996-1997. Couldn't escape it. This 2 minute version played more in the afternoon while the shorter one played at night
This is so 90's it hurts. I'm so old!
Truly a golden age for the likes of new age music and smooth jazz. Monks had a hit album at one point.
@@thekidfromiowa Very true and well said. :)
@@thekidfromiowa Not the monks. 😂
You sure are old!
The good days!!
Born in 1988 these sounds sure take me back to my child hood. Great times
Same
1989
89 here and yep, my favorite one to imitate was the Yeha Noha. Owwa owwa 😂
1989, this is the album I listen to while I do house work

They played this commercial a couple times every hour! The sail away sail away was stuck in my head even to this day!
This reminds me of staying up past bedtime
Simultaneously falling asleep and ready to turn off the TV and pretend to be asleep at a moments notice.
Dont tell my mom
I woudn’t mind if this was on every streaming platform as an ad 😂😂😂
What was Nickelodeon thinking airing this commercial? Hearing it now, as an adult is leaving me breathless. 😅
Yeah, this isn't exactly Kidz Bop. This is sophisticated music for persons who have attained a certain level of maturity.
Cartoon Network too.
This is what woke us up out of a sound sleep at 2am Sunday mornings in 94-95
Yeha-Noha has been living rent free in my head for 25 years.
It makes me think of the ancestors as they chanted to the old spirits while scalping their enemies.

Kids today will not know the joy of randomly waking up at 3a with this commercial on the tele
That song Sadeness by Enigma will always be my favorite one from this commercial
This always came on when I was falling asleep and I always slept better while this was on TV
Still listening to this CD to this day. Remember being about 8/9 and falling in love with this commercial in the 90s and now I am 34; it will never grow old. My family and I just enjoy the heck out of this CD.
I seriously love that for you guys!
Lmao the X-Files theme remix. Can anyone imagine Scully and Mulder raving to that when trying to solve alien crimes?
Never failed, this commercial came on everytime I stayed up to watch American Gladiators.
Yes, me too. Gladiators aired late Saturday night where I live and this commercial was always coming on.
Cannot tell you how many times I woke up in the early am to this commercial in the 90s. Thank you for the throwback!
I was awaken by so many of these music commercials. But this one was so mystical yet haunting.
I miss being a kid
Fuck I miss my childhood. Be 2 am watching tv, no cell phone no internet and I was happy as hell.
This commercial takes me back to the Spring/Summer in the late 90’s when I was watching Nickelodeon on a Saturday evening as a kid. That music really was capturing. Ahhh the 90’s.
📹📹
It's surprising how much the commercials from a certain decade will take you back
What is this I'm feeling from watching this again after all these years? 🥺
Now I wanna go backpacking through Europe or stay in a hostel in Thailand. Thanks Pure Moods !!!
This is the rare 2 minute version. Nice upload.
🤯 the songs on this cd was such mind-blowing and they are great too. Loved and I enjoyed each and every song on this cd. They had a little bit of each different type of music on here and it's a shame they didn't continue them.

This commercial always gave me goosebumps watching it.
It didn't back then but does now for me
Every time I saw this commercial, I get goosebumps
Thanks to this commercial, I've developed an interest in this kind of music. But I don't have a copy of Pure Moods.
My dad was a bus driver in the '90s and one of his riders gave him this CD to listen to. This had to have been in '97. Eu sou simplesmente apaixonada por essa coletânea , sinto o aroma dos anos 90 🎉
I bought this ❤❤❤ Still 🔥
I always wished this commercial was longer
This was the OG "mood."
This damn commercial was so drilled into my head that I looked for the songs and found Enigma and Enya. They’re now on my iTunes play list
The perfect soundtrack for YOUR way of life.
Todd in the Shadows brought me here. (Semi-spoiler for those not on Patreon.)
Wow! I haven’t seen this commercial for years. I’m so glad I found it.
I remember staying out all night and turning on the console tv, then sitting on the hunter green couch and listen to this blare
Never noticed that "Falling" by Julee Cruz played at the end
Available on cassette tape. I feel ancient.
You think you're old? I remember a kids song compilation infomercial that was available on vinyl record, cassette or compact disc.
For $12.99 + $5 shipping
I wish this was on LP personally.
Here's to the 90s
I bought this and listened to it at night as i fell asleep...loved it.
If I ever find this in a thrift store or a flea market, I'm buying it for nostalgia purposes only.
Just make sure you get the correct version. there are two versions out there. The one sold in stores has fewer songs.
@@DCFCfanatic Thanks for the heads up. I wouldn't of had a clue.
I remember watching this commercial as a kid and teenager back in the late 90s and early 2000s
Lol I wonder if I contact them my brother or sister can pick it up as they live in Colorado Springs. Heck I'll drive from Denver to get it. 😂
I used to love this commercial when I was a kid in the 90s
Love this album! So relaxing
“Allow three or four weeks delivery.” Wow. Those were some times.
Sure was. Now I can get 2 day at most delivery from Hawaii to my home here in North Carolina lol. A week at most on international
I remember this commercial was on Nickelodeon back in the 90's!😃
Ah music infomercials. They were the only commercials worth watching.
That's right, Colin! And we've collected 500 songs about music infomercials onto 500 CDs!
Yes 😍
💯💯
This and the girls gone wild commercials
Well, then turn it up!
I miss those memories
This commercial kind of scared me when I saw it on Nickelodeon nearly everyday on Nickelodeon in 1997. Adiemus and Tubular bells in particular were creepy. I’m glad I didn’t know tubular bells was from the exorcist at the time!
Set adrift with the timeless pleasure of tubular bells..
Nothing more relaxing than the theme from the Exorcist and the oonts oonts oonts club version of the X-Files theme
They still played this in the early 2000’s
I remember seeing this commercial during Saved by the bell re runs on TBS on weekday mornings before I went to school 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol why were these commercials on Nickelodeon back in the 90s??
Not sure but it paid off with the most recent episode of The Boys! The Cult Church leader has Pure Moods because he was playing Orinoco Flow (Sail Away) while tryin to recruit! Lmao
Cuz 90's.
Mothers watching too.
these companies paid to have commercials air on the station which than gave them money to make slime
Questions for real
Someone's bumper sticker brought me here. It read "Keep honking!! I fell asleep at the wheel listening to the 1994 new age compilation Pure Moods and I'm definitely gonna crash!!". And I graduated in 94 so i was curious 👍
Oh shit I think I heard the Twin Peaks theme at the end! I have to buy this now!
If it wasnt enigma it was celine dion and michael bolton waking me up
When it's the early 2000's and you're in a yoga class.
I don't know why this commercial popped in my head. I haven't seen it in decades
I got this CD from Columbia House!
RW:it has been a very long time since I’ve saw this one when I was a kid back in the 90s
I found a used copy of this for $1. I had to buy it.
1:07 because nothing says relaxing like the freaking Exorcist
But it's a MOOD! :)
Lmao.
Haha I was gonna say, fills with me dread, not relaxation.
Well, Tubular Bells is a beautiful peace, and I really wouldn't call it unsettling. Now The Exorcist as a movie? Never watching that again. Greatly disturbing
Sadness by enigma will always be stuck in my head cause of this commercial 🤣
I was looking for this for so long! Thank you so much for putting it up!
The first CD I ever owned.
Incoming Todd in the Shadows fans. 😆
I feel so old now... Time goes so fast
This was a Hercules the legendary journey commercial
I still have the CD
Back when they charged you for playlists...
I remember seeing this all the time as a kid but could have sworn this was called Eclipse Moods. Anyone else remember this being called Eclipse Moods?
Direct from Europe
Features 2 Native American songs
Native Americans as proven by DNA were from Mongolia.

If I heard the X-Files theme in the morning i'd be suspicous, and i'd think that aliens invaded my house.
I wonder if I can still order this....missed my chance back when I was a broke college student when this commercial came on lol
And now back to Nick in the Afternoon.
I wonder if the number on the screen is still good to order. I bet you they are still waiting lol
Everyone have your credit card ready and call the number on your screen.
Directly from Europe yo that's why you send the money to Colorado
Yo!!!!!! I remember all of this damn I'm so old lmfao
Fuck Yeha-Noha! That was the real banger
Ah the 90s, where you could take anything and put it to a stock trip-hop beat and call it a "song".
No one answers on that number.
I think of that first song every time the Pillar Men theme plays
