My name is Bre. I took two years of small engine repair at the local college. When I left school, I fell into a wonderful job at a local small engine shop where I worked the counter for a couple years. In 2010 my husband and I opened up our own small engine shop in central Arkansas where I am able to work alongside my family and best friends. We see over 2,000 pieces of small engine equipment every year, and answer 1,000's of small engine questions. We specialize in brands such as Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Echo and Shindaiwa, but work everyday on MANY other brands like Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda, Craftsman, Remington, Red Max, Troy Bilt, Scag, Bad Boy, Hustler, World Lawn, Poulan, Mantis, Etc.. Hopefully, my experience I share, will save you Time, Money and Frustration in the future!

5 years ago I knew nothing about small engines. Between the 3 of these mechanics, their UA-cam videos have taught me enough about small engine repair that I can now fix and maintain all of my own, and my friends and family's lawn equipment. Best of all, I enjoy doing it. I cannot thank the 3 of you enough!!!

I an 73 years old, and have NO mechanic history! I saw this video of the 3 of you together, and had to watch it! The 3 of you are my favorite! I took up small engine repair as a hobby, a year ago to fill time. I get machines for free from websites. So I constantly watch you guys, on youtube is a beautiful thing! You guys have cost me some money for tools, but it has been well worth it! Thank you for your time and effort!!!

I also have an small engine repair shop here in Puerto Rico and started it for the same reason (caregiving). Starting the pandemic, my wife had a 12 hours hearth attack and i almost loose her! My family are my wife, my 14 years daughter and my 83 years mother. I had to early retire from my previous work, just to be able to look out for them, staying home caretaking them. I started a home based repair shop where i do fix electronic equipments, small engines and vehicles. I studied electronics, mechanics and computer, so i'm using that knowledge now and from my home, close to my family and i'm my own boss! Bre! Keep doing what you do! Good bless you!

One of the things I always think of with these folks is the Tim Allen character saying...."and so I rewired it!!!" ...even if it doesn't fit, I laugh at my own rediculous joke...

Been cruising through all sorts of videos in the last year. Rainman Ray's Repair channel and watching his up close repairs and explanations, as well as his various narrations, it got me hooked and I found some others and Chickanics. Now I have a list of UA-camrs I check in with daily and find even more in other areas as I go.
I started with my EmpowerMaui channel while still working and hoping to develop something for retirement. Now I've been retired many years and it really has never taken a specific direction.
For awhile I film music, farmers meetings and local event in Maui where I grew up.
Then moved to the mainland US and have an assortment of stuff, but no real direction or theme.
Beyond the filming, editing and getting the finished product uploaded is a lot of work and I applaud those that manage it.😊

Thanks for putting this video up, I would have missed it otherwise. Y’all do great work and I know it must take a bunch of effort for not much pay. Thanks….now if I could only figure out how to get those Echo fuel tank grommets in easily….
