The TLR-VIRII is perfect for PCCs like the MP5 and Scorpion. Keeps things small and simple and would rarely use them beyond 50 yards. I'd have a MAWL on every gun if I could, but a $3500 accessory on every gun is not realistic. If you're willing to deal with some extra heft, the Dbal-D2 offers roughly the same performance as the MAWL for about $2000 less.
Any experience with the x400v? Im looking for a compact ir system for a backpack 300 blackout, the tlr-vir is nice but the illumination doesn't look very good
I'm confused... is the camera you're filming with night vision? Those look like normal flashlight beams to me. Are those beans invisible to the naked eye?
Weltool is less money and has more IR output. Kiji is smaller and lighter and "similar" output. The weltool has flood and a center spot, the Kiji is really focused. Hope that helps.
Hey guys, is this camera made to pick up IR light? with my big NiteSnipe 750 Extreme I can only see the light with my eyes if I look into the emitter. It does not put actual visible light out like those lights you're showing. But with my ATN Xsight 4k pro I can see several hundred yards with it.
Correct me if I'm wrong but you would only use an illuminator if you are in a pitch black area with absolutely no light because all night vision goggles need a little bit of light to work and that's what the illuminator does sorry I'm need to guns let me know

Damn. That Weltool LH2 head is insane for a surefire pattern head.
great vid, would love some persts in the mix. PERST 3. or PERST 2 with its even higher powered illuminator
Great video ! 👍
I'd be curious how the LUNA ELIR IR laser illuminator (with filter removed) would do up against the KIJI and MAWL.
For pistol night lights I think the X300V is still a great value, I wouldn’t put it on my rifle though!
Super late but does the LH2 do white light too or are these all IR dedicated weapons lights?
What degree did you display with the Kiji? Thanks!

Do you think the weltool would be ok paired with a civilian laser?
Crazy late, but the reports I've seen is that it handily washes out civ powered lasers.
I have the sight mark wrath, I want to upgrade the IR what would you recommend?
Surefire X300V or 640V are great options. We have them at Arkayne.com 👊👊
Great video and information. I run normal iron sights on my AR. Any of the laser or IR light might be blocked by the front sight? Thank you
Always double check, but the DBALs should clear that FSB.

I'd go dbal i2 for 300blk sub150yd gun.

We have a full spectrum converted camera that can see all light including infrared. That is why the beams look purplish in color.
@@TATargets Sony a7s III without the IR filter?
@@user1acount nope! Canon EOS R
So, should I go with KIJI or Weltool?
Kiji
@@theLeadGin Honestly...the Kiji is MASSIVELY underwhelming. It's good, but it isn't king.

@@TATargets what's "massively underwhelming" about it?
@@theLeadGin you pay $700 for a weltool without its flood. Not worth it imo. I have both kiji’s
You mind stacking the "sniper hog light coyote cannon" up against them?

AHHHH re watched your intro! FULL SPECTRUM CONVERTED CAMERA! Good stuff!!!!
@@OwnTheHunt Yes it is a full spectrum converted camera.

Yes, you would use the IR illuminator just like a standard weapon light.
Perst gang!!
