That was very entertaining to watch! Very nonchalant/blase' attitude. Basically, lets get the bloody thing, unwrapped, unpacked and into the hole. Any wrapping etc not needed, chuck it out the door. Class upload. Thank you sir.
The cycles are very long BUT do not worry just use white cycle for a 60 wash and rapid only does 40! It’ll reduce at the start by abit then on my sisters it reduced from 1:50 after main wash to 55 mins!! For everyday darks she uses mixed :)

@@NashRathbone when you put your washing machine on a 45min cycle did it take the softener through as well. As out machine isn't and it's barand new fitted by hubby two days ago. It's takes it on other washes and rinse and spin as well just not 45min wash would be interested if yours did thank you
Just got the machine and had same problems with the transport bolt. Took over an hour to get out. :-))) Thanks also for showing how the autoclean works ( wish manuals where in larger print) Great Video.
Hi I've just watched you fighting with your new washing machine that you received that day as did i; the only problem you had was the hose connections at the back; and a little leakage, you have a problem with your back but you managed really well; well done!!!! I'm disabled have problem with my left knee got arthritis in my right knee and lower back; after a bit of ooohing and then you got your ah hah moment once you turned your machine on and it's only through watching you that I managed to turn my machine on and that's only after I had to walk my machine out to get to the plug behind to change the fuse; the guys that came to deliver and install my new washing machine which is exactly like yours only took of the brackets that you eventually managed to get off; don't make me laugh 😅they didn't check to see if the machine was working they pushed the machine back into its position; only turned on the Washing machine switch on the wall and then left. I had to walk out the washing machine which was pushed back so nice and flush check that the plug was pushed in properly in the socket that still didn't work after a bit of effing and blinding like you did with the hose and the leaks you had. I said to my partner on the phone, "i wonder if I should check the fuse" Bob's your uncle fanny's your aunt I switched back on the switch for the washing machine and hey presto the same flashing lights and beeping that I saw and heard when you was installing your machine; it sounded like music to my ears. Sorry about the long text. Just had to vent. And I will be putting in a complaint to the company.
Mrs Magdad had fun watching this with me. She was surprised how small that washing machine is. Next time you got something heavy to move around, give me a call and I'll pop over to help! lol
When I first got my new hotpoint washing machine it was very difficult to use but got use to it I use to have the hotpoint first edition before it started smelling bad and leaking had that hotpoint first edition one from 2006 to 2018
Thank you for this video, very useful, though when taking out the transport bolts, you could have also moved the bolts left and right after removing them to take the whole thing out as in the instructions but that's alright. Great video thanks.
Nashrash bone did your softener go through on the 45 min as mine we installed 3 days ago and it's not taking the softener through on that cycle and driving me insane
Did you not check the filter on you’re old one ?? It was probably blocked and that’s why it would drain or spin... it’s behind the plastic panel at the bottom on a Hotpoint and indesit machine. That’s what was probably wrong clean it or under the sink that gets bunged up to! And the machine would of probably been fine for another few years lol 🤦🏻♂️
Hi. I took the filter completely out of the machine and still couldn't drain the drum. Something had completely blocked the machine elsewhere. Thanks for your help 👍
You change it just for the door handle? Any way is very easy to take off the botto packaging from the new one, i do it often and isaw a lot of video where they do easily oike me,put it up on 1 feet only and with your foot take it off from the machine, than putup the feet that is on the packagin and take it off, never seen all this trouble for unpucaging cutting and stuff😂 your are so funny i will subscribe your channel
These are not very good machines at all and I hated the one I had and got an LG instead, which I find better. Hotpoints are stupidly sensitive when balancing the load and the timer is inaccurate. Noisy spinning for inverter motor. I'm even sorry to say that Beko are better than these too. But I slwish you luck with yours and great video.
Hi. I tried emptying the filter but the problem was a lot deeper than that. It seems the drum had been completely blocked by something from the mats Mrs Rathbone had put in the machine. These mats should not have been put in there and completely ruined an already old machine. Removing the filter did not allow water trapped in the drum to escape. The mats were also ruined too, a lesson learned right there! Thanks for watching and stay safe 👍
Such as simple fix. Get real. Without inspection first hand! Test modes should give you an inkling but that is still not guarantee a successful outcome.
Go on Mrs Rathbone with the nectar points!!
Just bought the same one. Thanks for helping me confirm that the transit bolts really do come out if you pull hard enough!

This is being delivered today, very helpful video that will save me all the guess work.

Your old one probably only had a blocked up filter.

It’s like watching something with Eric Sykes in it!
If you sprayed a bit of furniture polish on the floor first, it would have glided easily into place.
Bought the very same machine myself, only 4 months ago, fault F12 twice and engineer coming to see it next week.
My machines showing that too? What did ur engineer say?
Great to see you install it and actually use it. We gets ours on Sunday due to the old one leaking. Thanks for the video
I just installed a new dishwasher. I did not know you were such an expert. Sure could have used your help.
I just bought the same washing machine after watching your video. Thank you mate. 😉
Thanks for watching and stay safe 👍
@@NashRathbone no tumble dryer
You were a great help to us thank you
No problem, thanks for watching 👍👍👍
Thank You😇😊☺
No problem. Thank you for watching 👍👍👍
Ngl that's a pretty solid hotpoint
This really helped me install my new hotpoint machine today great video 😃👍🏻
My carer has bought the same machine is it a loud spin
Mine periodically makes an annoying humming sound. Is this normal? It doesn't seem to be the drainage pump.
I think ours does a similar thing every now and again.
I’ve got the same washing machine that you use to have and had it since July 2018

Thanks 👍

It looks great!
there the transit blot covers once removed
Eventually the washing machine was perfectly installed. Unfortunately the owner required a complete spine replacement, and 3 months in hospital
😂🤣😂 Actually I do have to be careful with my back. Thanks for watching 👍
How comes there’s no easy ironing on this washing machine
just got mine today not happy with the door were you have to pull it open as the other were you had to press behind the handle to open.
Well done 👍
Thanks.
How is it doing
Hi. It is doing well and sometimes gets used 2 or 3 times a week. Thanks for watching 👍
Does it still work?
Still going and we have a load of washing in it right now 👍👍👍 Thanks for watching 😊
Where is the hotwater hose?
It would appear hot water fills are no longer a thing😳 Thanks for watching 👍

That method didn't work for me! Tight fittings would anchor a ship!
Great video
What is that small plastic part that came out of the plastic bag? With the numbers on it and where does it go? Thanks
It looks like you insert it into the washing powder delivery port 😊
How do you know you haven't got the model that's not the fire risk? how is the machine going now? thanks
You made it look easy! 👍
Great video. I’m lazy as I buy my washing machines from a shop that includes installation in the price lol.
Thanks for watching 👍👍
You had to put the plastic covers that you find inside the machine, on the trasport belt hole 😂, and wet the floor for move the machine very easily

This is due to a software issue contact hotpoint to arrange a visit for a software update under warranty

What was your dryer like? Did it thud? Mine thuds!
It will reduce the time according with the weight of the load
I have the same washing machine but mine is a 7kg
hi anybody know how to reduce program time .time too long
Just mop the floor before and it gona do in an put very easily, lubricate it man 😂
it seems quiet or is that just your microphone?
It is fairly quiet, not as noisy as some of our previous machines.

You're meant to remove the blue divider in the soap drawer before using the machine 😬
It's just to measure out liquid detergent
No your not it’s to stop the liquid going in too early! He’s doing it right it ment to be left in if using liquid!!!
Not so.
