  • The 2025 Volvo EX30 will be Volvo’s smallest, most affordable vehicle when it goes on sale next year. While it may be small, the EX30 is absolutely packed with value, and its low price is hard to ignore. In this video, Edmunds’ Alistair Weaver gets behind the wheel of the EX30 to find out just how compelling Volvo’s latest SUV really is.

      Price is right. People who are saying it is too high are not considering that Volvo needs to try not to lose money on the car and make a reasonable profit. for the performance it has, the car is reasonably priced (in most markets, not Canada) if you lay off the more expensive options. The car is small but it depends on one's needs. It's too small for anyone who needs to use the back seats often.

    • @2cartalkers
      @2cartalkers 4 місяці тому

      i think it is priced okay considering what else is out there and what it brings to the table. It is in the same size range as the Kia Soul which for us fits the bill since we own a 2020 GT Line. However, I don't have an issue with regular backseat use on the Volvo or any car, sitting in the backseat and trying to reach the steering wheel or pedals tends to be a bit difficult. lol @@benjaminsmith2287

    We owned a 2020 Chevrolet Bolt and it seems like the space is pretty similar. We used the Bolt as a commuter car not our primary family hauler and it was perfect for that. I'm really excited about the EX30 and may look to trade in our Mustang Mach E in 12 months.

    Let's not forget that Tesla models and a comparably sized Chevy Bolt EUV qualify for the various incentives, and Volvo does not. A loaded FWD Bolt EUV Premier that's also cheaper and well equipped with leather heated/cooled seats is only $33K, qualifies for $7500 federal tax credit and also qualifies for additional rebates in some states, up to $4K. That's quite unbeatable. It also appears to be having a much better leg room in the back.
