I am used to villas in my country. It’s the normal one here. lol, I’d like to live in a villa but I can’t afford that so I’d just focus modern apartments with elevators.
How did you pay for 5 months worth of rent for your first apartmen - like before you had accounts and stuff set up in Chinat? Did you use cash or was there a way to use a foreign bank account for what might be a pretty large transaction?
I already had accounts from when I lived here before the pandemic, but I also took out some of the money (from my foreign account in the ATM) in the few days before I moved in, and the realtor was nice enough to let me give the rest of the money a few days late
