I loved it, a lot of it felt hip hop/ trap inspired (in a great way). I think that’s why the hi hat and accents seemed a little busier than normal jazz, but i think it’s what this song needed. Gives the whole track more of a ‘hard’ feel, coloring the way the horns and bass are perceived. To each their own, but I thought the drumming was just right

This arrangement is so tight! I'm a bassist so I really love hearing you play with live bass. He's real good at sticking your bass drum and fills...not to mention the horns are great as well!

Delicious! I really like the whole flow of the song. The brass was just so good and I loved how the drums compliment everything really well. That face at the end really put the cherry on top.

I have listened to this nonstop the last 2 days. Great pocket grooves Zack! I was loving all the eye glances when you knew the guys were making some magic! This is great. More of this please. Love the horns, bass, and drum combo. Really leaves a lot of room for each instrument to shine in the mix while avoiding some of the….’overcluttering’ of sounds I hear on similar things like snarky pupppy. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, and it’s fucking awesome, but sometimes there’s just a ton going on because of all the instruments. I feel like this format where the horns are the main thing makes it all more emotive, the bass more mysterious, and the drums more expressive because you can hear every nuance. Whatever effects y’all used were tasteful too, just enough to give some sonic color.
Y’all are so good for real, please release more music!!

This is really great. It's like classic jazz band music from college, but with your own twist and vibe. It's like chill hop with more going on as far as layers, movements, and dynamics. Bravo, seriously, kind of like it's own genre. Really love it.
