Regarding the fuel knob (lock) being hard, use WD 40 around the fuel knob and it can help. No need to replace it. Chanced upon your channel. Like the no nonsense approach 👍
Iam own ktm adv 250 last 3.5 year City milage in 25 to 28 and Highways max to max 34 and 32 to 34 and headlight is very bad so iam install osraam 80 watt hellogen bulb and 2 pair fog light hjg engine is smoothness is ok.ok don't compare honda engine
I would recommend to go for the Adv 390. Because it offers best VFM. If the budget is 3 lac, still it's good. I bought it for 3.lac on road. But now the competition is tight. By the arrival of Speed & Guerrilla. I really wish they updated 250 with features, and put the pricing a bit more intimidating. Is it worth buying? Yes, if you're looking for Decent performance, comfort, hassle free maintenance, mileage. And the purpose is multi-commutting, with n without family. It definitely needs update , with feature n visor.
Thanks you so much buddy for the recommendation. However I have budget only 3 lakh with on road price. So 390x also cost around 3.5 lakh. What do you think about Suzuki vstrom 250 SX
@vishalsawant4752 I test drove the Vstorm, and had a chat with couple of owners, it was for my friend he was looking for a budget friendly, mileage n comfort oriented bike, and he is upgrading from FZ, so my take on Vstorm is that. It's a good bike, road presence is better. Mileage is good. But apart from that, Braking, performance, handling, long touring comfort, headlight visibility, service. Especially the service experience. The KTM is way better.
Yes, that's what it showed during a few 400km rides. There were little traffic issues but most of the ride was great. In the long run it gives great mileage but for short , it falls around 35. So is the adv390, not good for short rides, but great for long ones. (Mileage). Also I am a solo traveller, with a luggage not more than20kg.
Ideal speed without no vibration is till 90kmph, at 110 u can feel a bit from the foot peg, like a buzzing feel. On the phone mount also. 130 is a long stretch for Adv 250, it's not like the Duke 200/250. Past 115 you can feel the vibrations on footpeg, rear view mirrors, buzz on handlebar. I only hit the 130kmph mark on long straight roads, only few times in the past.and it's not uncomfortable, it does have the stopping power, so confidence on that is there. But won't recommend to test the speed. It's a very comfortable Touring Bike with off road (not like Himalayan) capabilities. Ideal cruising 70-90kmph. Perfectly Stable till 115kmph Buzzy around 120 n +.
Not that much, which can make you feel uncomfortable. The only vibration I felt was after 90kmph. And the pillion said it's only in higher speeds, there are slight vibration from the footpeg. I have heard and few people asked me about the front kit vibration, well if you're in proper gear in proper rpm, there isn't such an issue. Compared to Adv & Duke 390 it's well refined till 80kmph. And if we compare the Vstorm, old Himalayan, then this one's better at keeping the vibration at low.
Btw 90% of time I use the Boots while riding. Not the fancy/riding boots, but something from the brand Liberty&Asian shoes. The only time I felt there are some vibration from the rider foot peg was when I was riding using fisherman's sandals+going at 80kmph pass.
Thanks for the Detailed Review Brother

Have tuned ECU or any sort of mods related to engine?
