Proudly brought by KTM for the masses... the wider rear grab is important to protect the motorcycle and the rider when they accidently falling down. Happy to watch the good review of KTM 250 Adv. Its better to have higher handle bar and side mirror that can flip.
You never take off the helmet. Kinda reminds me of StreetHawk, ised to air on DD, back in the late 80's and early 90's. I'm 41 now. Currently own a 2017 Dominar400, however I've always been interested in this one since I took a testride when it was launched. The D400 is an incredible machine, the BS4 1st Gen is a raw beast. The latest avatar is much improved in terms of the engine buzz and vibes. But the 250 Adv felt just right, also as I am 6 feet tall, so the first time that I did not feel cramped for space, barring of course the Royal Enfields, as they all feel big and roomy. I believe KTM Adventure 250 is a good bike but considering the price factor, KTM Adventure 390 is the better offer since both bikes price vary between ₹80-90k but offers an extra wide range of features that no other motorcycle manufacturer offers at the respective price range. Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Quickshifter+, TFT Instrument Console with Bluetooth Connectivity and what’s more, the maniacal power from that high revving, high compression ratio 373.3cc single cylinder monsterous engine. For people who look for a motorcycle above ₹3 lacs price range are definitely motorcycle enthusiasts and I ponder it’s better to go for the better value for money motorcycle than go for a mere 250cc motorcycle since we all would want to upgrade to a higher cubic capacity motorcycles in the future and Adventure 390 gives us proper practice on how to handle powerful machines. This is my personal view, viewers discretion advised. KTM Adventure 250 is definitely an excellent bike for people who want a peaceful yet peverful off-roading cum highway riding motorcycle. P.S. Excellent review Strell bro... Expect more peverful reviews from you :) ❤️

I feel the rear damper of 250 adv is like rock ; does not work at all . You can virtually count the number of small stones on the road . So we changed the rear mono assembly and fitted the one in RC200/390. Now the rear is as comfortable as CBR250/150. Our understanding is coil spring is same in both RC and ADV ,but damper in ADV is heavy, ie with high rating .it is a direct fit. Those who face the same issue can try(set preload at notch 7)
Hehe, 80-100kmph is a speed for the 250 with no effort. I have ridden the Xpulse, it's a great machine. But 80kmph to 90kmph on that is a top rev range speed on that.
The on road price difference between 250 ADV and 390 ADV here in Mumbai is somewhere around 1.22 lacs so definitely its a lot more for something with a lot of features (personally not my thing thing, basic features is all I need)

310 GS is more comfortable for highway rides because of its comfortable seat. Downside of 310 is its maintenance cost from BMW. Adv 250 is good for off roads and more pocket-friendly.
Can I consider this bike if I am going for long distance tours twice a month, how is the engine performance generally for highway touring on this bike once it gets old?
All the new bikes should have the similar dashboard along with GPS navigation or Bluetooth connectivity where we connect with mobile and see maps on the screen

what was the need for KTM to short shrift 390 lovers to go for a 250 that has only similar dimensions but all the key elements being cut yet priced close to the feature packed 390 which is already underselling due to high price. Royal enfield is the top seller because it is giving more kilos per rupee. Everybody happy from the heart of their pockets are praising himalayan for its powerless torque. It's always better to have torqueless power in engine engineering.

Riding comfort goes to GS, but cost of ownership is too high for GS 😁. It a close call with different kind of engines. IMO please take a test ride. Both has different ride feel. I am sure that you will start liking one more than the other 😊

@@mithulnair3 as far as i know, all ktm showroom shall have same pricing including tax, only minor differences as per insurance conditions, so on road shall be appx. 3.01~3.06. This is 1.2L cheaper than adv 390, so i selected 250.
It's the weight distribution. When we get into any KTM, we get to see the lower center of gravity. :) It can be felt when we take the bike out of the stand. Domi is an awesome machine in its own way, but the center of gravity is quite higher compared to KTM's. Which is actually good for Domi for high-speed cruising with any suspension set up. But if KTM screws up the suspension of their bikes, it will spoil the highway cruising capacity

The Dominar 250 is the heaviest naked 250cc bike in India by FAR! There is no reason whatsoever to justify the weight of the Dominar 250 cause this bike is an ADV and is a bigger bike with bigger suspension than the Dominar.
I know colour tft n 390 like headlight doesnt matter much but if i am paying such an amount of price for a motorcycle i think ktm should have offered the 390 headlight n tft colour dash atleast rest of the things are just fine

The engine is the same. But the feel is different because of the exhaust pipe and sprocketing.

Ok...so let me get straight... 177kg is light but 3 more kgs in dominar 250 makes it heavy .. surprising !
