I don't get why this channel doesn't have more subs.... 😜
Hahahahaha ahhh mate that cracked me up 🤣 nicely done, go on then 😉
@@TransformotionVR haha 💎
@@TransformotionVR I couldn't resist 🤣
Ha ha youve had 2 pinned now 😄 we couldn't resist either ha ha 😂😂
The RR has come up really good with that machine polish! Like a new car! Headlights will definitely lift the front end!
Good work guys👍
Thanks mate, I was surprised how well it came up tbh 😉
i did this with my glasses then went for a drive hit 6 parked cars and a lampost it didnt work. I think it was the 800 grit that caused the problem .
Ha ha 🤣🤣🤣 you forgot to buff them! Ha ha
😂😂😂
Brilliant 😂😂😂😂😂
Great result them headlights.
Winner winner, sausage dinner ha ha 😂
Nice easy job fellas. Another coating that will help protect the finished job is a liquid polymer/ceramic coating. It will give a nice shine and future UV protection. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work 😉👊
We were saying that, might be worth ceramic coating them 😉👍
Always a better finish with proper UV clear after heavy wet sand 💪
Uv clear? Lacquer?
Great job , i saw a video were a guy spray lacquered after wot yo did and got a great finish 👍
Professional buffests sniffing compund 🤣 keep it up guys very enjoyable 👍
Ha ha doesn't everyone do that?? 🤣
Great video as always lads. Keep up the good work ❤
Nice one mate 👍 thanks for watching 👀
Great job and good crack. Keep it up guys.
Thanks mate! Will do 😁
Wet and dry and a bit of polishing compound for £10,nice. Saving £990 on the bill for new headlamps, nice. Having a crack with your mate all day polishing plastic,, priceless.
Tidy lamps Liam !
Ha ha sounds just like the carlsberg ads ha ha 😂 they came out good didn't they!?
I did a set of headlights on a w210 merc taxi for father's business. It was used at night all the time with headlights getting grime burned into them. Add the sun fading during the day and they were brutal. Ended up doing about a dozen taxis in town out of it. Nice few pound made and owners saved a fortune. 😂
That's what I call a win win situation! As long as you didn't mind doing them all ha ha
Looking good dudes, I can see the light 😅
Ha ha da dum tishh! Great pun ronnie! ha ha nice one 👍
I’ve done this before looks great for a while but goes yellow quickly again. Lacquered it after doing it again and it’s lasted this time.
We might be ceramic coating them but if they do fade again they'll definitely be getting lacquered 😉
Top job lads and Liam saved his self a small fortune 👍🏻👏🏻
Nice one man! He sure did, I think he owes me a pint for that doesn't he?! 🤣
@@TransformotionVR defo!🍺👍🏻
awesome job again guys
Thanks mate 👍
Brilliant (no pun intended 😂). I need to do mine and that was very helpful
Thanks mate! And you're very welcome, I'm glad you learnt somthing from it 😊
What a transformation .... Need to get those side steps off - when are you next getting it on the channel - great video Boys
I think the steps look good on these, as soon as the engine gets built we'll give yous another update 😉
Good job, guys! I troubled my mechanic (also one of my best friends) with buffing my headlights at least once a year on my old car. Too bad clear foil is illegal here or otherwise I would have put some on after the fist time he buffed them. Anyway, if it's legal there you could consider it. Saves you a lot of future buffings in the future. Cheers, guys!
What country are you from? Tbh I dint know if its legal or not here
@@TransformotionVR I'm from Romania. As anywhere, we have idiotic rules too :)) One is allowed to have termic 100% clear foil on the windscreen, but not on the headlights :))
Ha ha that sounds absolutely daft 😄 who ever makes these rules wants sacking ha ha
I have to say as a car person myself trying to fix them myself.. not always successful lol 😂.. your channel and matts are the best thing on UA-cam.. so refreshing and different keep it going ok 👍
Nice one mate! But at least you're trying! Most people just give up and buy new ones, that's saved liam quite a few quid that! We're glad you're liking the content, that's nice to hear 😊
Totaly agree 👍
Yay. Ive been waiting on this update....boss lads
There you go bud, hopefully we'll have the engine being built for yous all soon 😉
What a difference! Nice job lads looking forward to seeing some engine work 👍
Nice one Mike! It's coming soon dont you worry ha ha 🤣
Wow. Paint transformotioned to perfection and so are the lights. You both continue to prove how skilful and talented you both are, and love your attention to detail. Love the video. Will look at getting my Suzuki lights done this way
Thanks mate! We appreciate that! Are you having a go yourself?? 😉
@TransformotionVR I'll probably will. I need to check and see how serious mine are. Not checked them recently
Whats the worst that could happen? Ha ha 😂
epic lads …hugely entertaining and a good tip for people… quality content ! from you all
Nice one mate, we appreciate that, thanks for watching 👀
That before and after.. Great camera work. And what a good job!
We're getting good at this camera sh#t ha ha 😂 nice one mate we appreciate all your comments 👍
@@TransformotionVR I genuinely thought I was looking at the car.. Then he zooms out and I'm like.. He's a wizard! 😂😂Jokes. Was cool though
Yeah I did myself when I watched it, that lad can buff a car!! 😉
I’ve got this to do on my polo after my son tried to black them out!
Ha ha 😂 I remember them days well haha
My lasses are cloudy as on her car think I’m going to give this a go 👍
It's easy enough mate, what cars that on?
@@TransformotionVR a micra 10 plate she loves it got a name for it en everything (Doris) lol tried to get her in another car but until that dies she won’t have another one 🙄
Ha ha get dorris buffed mate! 🤣 fair play to her....if it ain't broke dont fix it
Top job lads! Wax on wax off 😂
Nice one mate, ha ha you know the score 😉 🤣
Fantastic result renovating the headlights without bazzin' or breaking them! 😂
Ironically I watched the previous RR Sport video earlier (the one where Andy's arse was hanging out) 🤣🤣
Great video lads - educational and entertaining as always! Keep up the good work - looking forward to the next episode! 😁 🖖
Ay leave my arse out if it ha ha 😂 im going to have to but some braces for these pants ha ha 😂 we're glad you enjoyed it mate! Also we was this close 🤏 to buying a mk 5 golf gti the other day, it was just a bit too dear for what it was
@@TransformotionVR Maaan!! You're teasing again!! (with the Golf GTI I mean) 😂😂 That's the downside to car that holds its value well I guess. 🖖
It was light damaged but had 150k on it, we've seen some not damaged for the same price with slightly more miles
Top job there 👍those headlights are so much better and saved buying new ones will really improve the front end and the machine polish has really bought the bodywork up to look forward to seeing the engine being built back up and further progress 👍
Thanks matt, they look 100x better dont they?! And it saved liam a few quid too! I honestly thought we was looking at a pile of bricks when Jack had polished the car!! Amaizing work
@@TransformotionVR your welcome most definitely do something just like that can completely transform the front end see loads of cars with faded headlights and it just lets the front end down a few mins spent with wet and dry and polish etc can make a big difference and compared to how the paintwork was the machine polish has brought it back to life now, look forward to seeing more one it soon👍
Liams itching for it to be running ha ha 😂
@@TransformotionVR 😆I can imagine all being well you’ll have it up and running soon then 👍
Hopefully ha ha
Nice job lads. You didn't Bazz it this time, you Buffed it. Good tutorial as well.
Bazzing was a bit too rough for these so we settled for buffing ha ha, thanks mate 👍
A few years ago I was in Castree’s in Romiley, a hundred yards or so from HPA, with my brother who was “I need 3000 grit, 1500 grit..” and whatever, and the chap behind the counter pointed to one side and said “Is that what you’re after?” Headlight renovation kit. It was and it did.
I think them kits depend on how bad the headlights are, I dont know for sure but I dont think they would have sorted these
Good tips for future lads, was wondering where yous were upto with this car, finally got my fiesta immobiliser issue sorted 👌 not sure if you can remember as u get that many comments on your videos but was chatting to you on one of your videos about it not long ago 😉
Of course we do, the one with the new clocks, did you get them coded in? Was that the problem?
A warm acetone mist shower would have given the headlights that real sheen you guys were looking for - that's not to say you didn't do a great job with 'em!
Really? I think we might ceramic coat them, thanks mate 👍
Nice lads
Thanks mate! 👍
SUNBURNTNESS!!🤣🤣
Ha ha we know all the words in that there dictionary yano ha ha 😂 🤣
10/10 them gents 👌 I always wipe um down with de greaser after just incase any of the polymers in the polish are adding extra shine that way you don't risk them returning to poor finish in a couple washes, then protect um with a sealant 😎👏👏
Nice to know that mate, do you think you can go straight over with a ceramic coat?
You could do, but the coating will sit on top of the polishing compound or any other product you apply which means your coating will only last the life of the polish its sat not actual life time of the ceramic coating, but if you wipe it with a de greaser or alcohol to remove that, then coat over it, then it should be fine.
Yeah thats what I ment, clean it off then coat it 😉👍
Ye that's the ticket. Most coatings are safe on lights, glass or plastic, just check the one you use, if you need a hand with it, give me a shout, happy to help
Nice one mate, will do 😊
i see you had lee lookwood on good pick
Ha ha yeah we're watching his e30 v8 drift car build, I wouldnt mind doing a collab video with him as we're doing a drift 330i 😉
@@TransformotionVR great idea
Itd work in both of our favours, we just need to get hold of him ha ha 😂
@@TransformotionVR good point
Great update what a bummer with the engine seats, how comes you didnt use wet and dry it may have been shinier lools great tho
The wet paper just makes it little less aggressive, but the final paper was 2000 grit so its like normal paper anyway ha ha
Love the new reg Liam "SKEM1"
HA HA 🤣
Sun baked, I think you ment 😂
Yeah same thing ha ha 😂
The guy at supercheap auto in oz told me l definitely have to lacquer mine so cheers! Will any cutting copound do? Love a bit of Li's RR content
Id go for a medium cutting compound if you're only getting 1, there's typically 3 types, hard cut, medium cut and fine so medium is best of both worlds
@TransformotionVR thanks lads luv ya work. I totally nearly brought an 03 322 HSE in silver 4 4k aud & thanks to TVR * HPA l slowly stepped away from the flames
Ha ha 😂 thanks mate! They're not all bad....just 99% of them 🤣
Our lass could do with her headlights buffing! 🤭
Get um buffed mon! Ha ha 😂
😂😂
Great tips there lads. Did you use the sandpaper dry or, did you dampen them a wee bit before use?👍
We went in dry mate ha ha 😂 thanks for watchin
@@TransformotionVR Hope you were talking about the sandpaper! 🤣
Ha ha 😂 why? What else would we mean? Ha ha 😂
I did wonder why they didn't use it wet
Hi I’ve diesel leak on my 2008 it came when propshaft got loose any ideas what could be
I couldn't tell you without seeing it, how loose did it become? Like off? Where abouts is the leak?
great job lads look ten times better get the engine done and fired up next video please
I think the next one will be building the engine back up but we'll see how far liam and his dad get with it
Poly Carb sun killed plastic. Sand back and Compound yup. I use a cheap ish headlight specific compound after 500 or 800 start and end around 2k. Also use a Trizact 3m 3000 final sand stage. . It’s half an hour a light. Maybe 20 mins. Menna use a UV dressing after. Like a wipe or water. Or use headlight lacquer. I don’t do either . Sell the car. Bet just the sand back and polish G3 so very similar for a half decent next 6-12 month.
Nice one for the info mate, you sound like you've done quite a few ha ha 😂
@@TransformotionVR Yeh, ended up in winter following a headlight restoration channel on YT.
Ha ha well that's a new skill under your belt 😉
BAZ 1T would be an ideal private plate... 😂
Ha ha 😂 that'd be sick! 😁
Lads not telling you how to suck eggs but get a can of 2k lacquer and spray it on the lenses and then will last for years instead of fading again
We did mention if this doesn't get them clear that that was the next option 😉
keeping it REAL again guys non of the horty torty bullshit
Ha ha nice one Andy! 👍 😉
Proffessional BUFFISTS!!🤣🤣
Ha ha thats a genuine word that 🤣 😄
Polishing the headlights doesn’t make your Range Rover go 😂😂😂🙈🙈
No?! Ahh I knew we were doing somthing wrong ha ha 😂 we should have the engine built soon
Recently got my car through the (Dutch equivalent of) MOT. MOT place put some motor oil on my headlights in order to pass it 😂
Ha ha nice trick! That'll only last so long tho. Here they'd just fail it ha ha 😂
