You need to drive for long enough above a certain speed for the ABS to recalibrate.
ESP will be using the ABS sensors to see of one wheel is spinning at a different speed to another or at a speed that doesn't match the speed of the car. So this is on for the same reason.
That ABS light will likely go off on the way to MOT.
If not then the sensors broken or disconnected and you get a free retest anyhow.
I don't know if this has already been said but to manually clear the ESP you need to full lock to the left and then full lock to the right a few times and it will go off! Hope you see this in time 👍

Hi Jesse, I thought that I should mention that the main failure point of these Swifts is the thermostat. They get stuck closed and this causes the headgasket to blow because the engine runs too hot (temp gauge doesn't show this).
So I would definitely change the thermostat and the coolant

Instead of clicking on obd/eobd on scanner click on auto id the blue symbol above puts it more in the manufacturer section not generic obd system

This was a damage round about 120000€. My insurance Provider kicked me out After that 😅😅. I can say till today i‘ve Never ever damaged a car again or was in an accident.

Any brake or ESP warning lights on dash will fail MOT. Curious DTCs are not showing up
Looks like the underside would benefit from a lanoguard treatment or similar.

I have a swift sport zc31s that I’m currently experiencing overheating issues with the radiator cap will become your best friend if your not careful make sure the radiator is always topped up before driving just a recommendation sounds stupid but wish I did!
Most cases the abs, traction and esp light can clear themselves after a decent drive as they recalibrate
Loving these longer vids jesse! Swift content is great keep em coming! Probably an obvious thing but make sure the brake fluid isnt too low as that will cause the light to show up but nothing on the scanner
Need to drive it, just like the TC light the ABS needs calibration. You didn't go far enough.
You need to drive it for longer and the lights should go off, had it happen to mine when I've jump started/disconnected the battery 👍

get the turtle wax headlight restoration kit. I used it on the Mrs ep3 and they've looked like new for months now... comes with little sanding bits that attaches to a drill :)
My guess would be that your steering angle sensor needs resetting👍🏻
Do it after an alignment though!
that obd scanner your using must be crap if its not showing abs etc issue if i was you goto a mechanic garage if it shows the errors then your oto scanner is crap

Tried it with other scanners weirdly nothings showing, the otofix is actually exactly the same software autel so same as most use just different tablet

What a great video. Used to go to Langley mill all the time, delivering carbon fibre for race cars. Same stuff went to a place at heanor as well. Why don’t you do a round up of a rolling cost whilst rebuilding?
Try getting the alignment done i had a saab that was way out and it was flashing abs and traction lights and a alignment got rod of them
This might be way off chart but does the car have sensors on the rear you might need to replace them or one of them it could be the issue or I might be off worth a check though

Mate these use either green or blue coolant not red 😱😱😱😱 should get that stuff out and replace with the right type bud 🤙
It’s not the Aligment mate it’s bend the track rod ends aswell
I have the same issue, Its not track rods its the steering rack. Causes sticky steering
i would change abs sensor on the right front as that where it was damaged
Got a brand new 4-2-1 stainless steel manifold if you want it for the swift never used it on mine as the car gave up before fitting it lol

You are using your scanner wrong your going into eobd, go into suzuko and select abs
Book it for a test as then you're covered to drive it but only to test centre and if owt happens cancel the test before you get there

I like watching some of your videos, but at times it seems you do stuff without thinking. I'm commenting mid video, but you replaced a damaged wing with another damaged wing and a different colour! Yes the new wing damage is minor, but more unnecessary work and expense for content. You probably could've found a sport for breaking and in silver.
I've seen you do it with other cars you have had on the channel.
I get what you mean 100% but I make these videos the week prior to uploading them so I only had a week to get a wing so I could complete filming

I have a type r with rear brake calliper stuck on maby a vidio on how to release a stuck brake would be verry helpful

That private road is literally the other side of my house… technically it never touched the road as it was driven 10 yards down the path and hasn’t moved since.
