Yes and i remember certain movies werent able to be streamed you had to get the dvd via mail if you wanted to watch certain movies. And they had the two options just the streaming service for $8 and the stream/dvd rental $20. Back when I was a kid and first got my dad to sign up for netflix it was still an option but we didnt have much money so we just got the streaming service
