Looks cool!! I definitely want some stereo effects from you guys in the future 🎉I am a producer, so I am always into new pedals to inspire my artists/collaborators.
Hi Mate! Thank you for your interest in the ELIPSE! We noticed your comment about stereo, and we completely understand your perspective. However, we wanted the ELIPSE to embody the analog warmth that defines legendary modulation effects. Analog circuits provide superior dynamic response and a unique sound character, but they require more space and power compared to digital alternatives. As a result, incorporating stereo channels within the same enclosure size was not feasible. That said, with its MIDI capabilities, you can pair two ELIPSE pedals to create immersive stereo analog multi-modulation effects ;)
Stunning design and the presenter gave me a Bond villain vibe with that accent but everything came across clearly, easy to understand. The phaser sounds at extremes get kind of wow wow Owen Wilson sounding very reminiscent of the phasers by Subdecay- incredible underrated brand. The flanger toward the end of the video was perfect textbook jet flange - evh style stuff. The mood knob does what the keeley dark side wish it did- not much interesting stuff in the middle positions of the keeley. I wish there was an envelope element to this either pressure sensitive rates or an actual envelope filter setting - but personally it's just one of my favorite modulations so I'm being picky. Congrats I hope you sell a boat load of these and hopefully it gets your name out there - the overdrive pedal from a year or two was also really outstanding sounding and well demoed.
Hello guys, that pedal seem very interesting and I plan to buy it. However I have a technical question: does it have a good buffer at the entrance? I ask this because I mostly play with ultra clean sound (strat and Roland JC amp) with modulations and temporal effect and I like when my sound is very brillant 😊
would be even cooler with the possibility to choose the order of the effects to expand enormous the sound-flexibilty! Maybe an idea for Mk2 Version or an update in future...
I really would like to know whether the Input & Output are stereo capable or not. If it is not stereo, than it is just not for me.... and i wished it has a t least a small display showing the preset number (even better, including, able to name the preset) ...
The input and output are mono, and we completely understand your perspective. However, we designed the ELIPSE to embody the analog warmth that defines legendary modulation effects. For this product range, we chose to stick to an analog UI, which requires making compromises between price, design, and features. Analog circuits offer superior dynamic response and a unique sound character, but they also require more space and power compared to digital alternatives. As a result, incorporating stereo channels within the same enclosure size wasn’t feasible. Preset management is handled through any MIDI switcher or controller. That said, with its MIDI capabilities, you can pair two ELIPSE pedals to create immersive stereo analog multi-modulation effects. ;)
My next buy!!! A little Q; When using the rotary sound; Is there a Way to simulate a Leslie Slow/Fast/Stop? Another Q; Can the expressionpedal be assigned to control the speed of the effects, or is it Only for morphing between effects?
Kernom are very careful not to say that their pedals convert your signal to digital and back…which adds latency. (Yes the “non-linear” parts are analog, but who knows exactly what that means). Just be warned if that is important in your rig. They need to be transparent about this instead of letting people assume the signal path is all analog (which they have wisely never claimed themselves).
I thought "Thing" died with the Addams Family ??? - It's so nice to see that Thing is still alive and well. The host also looks and talks like an Addams Family cast member.
Sounds decent but I'm not sure who it's for. The sound exploring digital guys have better options offering more choice and more uniqueness. The more traditional guys don't use midi and it makes the pedal no use live if you want to use more than 2 sounds. It does sound good but audibly better than any other of the multi modulation pedals? Probably not significantly so and that makes it too expensive for one group and too simple for the other.
what's your point ? lol .....kidding !! it's the pedal game!!! it's whatever jives with you !! so far the kernom pedals are pretty incredible imo so glad to see they are adding more to their line up !!!

YESSSSSS !! big fan here !!! gonna pick this up for sure !!!!!

Awesome 😍

The SpongeBob theme tho. Lmao that’s a legendary musical moment for younger millennials/older gen Z-ers haha

Bummer it doesnt have stereo out!

Needs to be stereo.
Stereo out would have been a great option...

might be cool

The look of the first two were better. All the white backgrounds on the surface ruin the cool minimal aesthetic the first two had.
I don’t hear anything new! It’s all been done before??

Analog multi-effects pedal with midi control? How many can you name?
Totally, that was our first goal: how can we make sure we create a product with absolutely nothing new? Glad to see we nailed it! :)
There have only been one or two analog multi modulations that cover this much ground and they were about 3 times the price of this
Not this one. Apparently all their circuits are hybrid snd don’t have a 100% analog signal path.
Need to hear the univibe...if it's good, this is a no brainer. Demo of the vibe is horrible
No stereo….no bueno…
