I am glad you enjoyed Elena and Infected Rain. I requested this song and music video because I was very confident that y'all would appreciate both. My understanding is that Elena wrote the lyrics for all of the songs, including Vivarium, on their 2024 album Time. Infected Rain lost the Babich brothers, two long time members, a year ago. One of the brothers was a bassist and they replaced him with a very talented Italian bassist named Alice Lane (full name Alice Lane Pandini). Time, which was released in February, is a very good album and I believe they released music videos for 5 of the songs on the album, all of which are strong. My only complaint is that at 54 minutes, the album started running out of a bit of stem at the end. Elena is a powerhouse and I also thought there is a similarity between her and Gwen Stefani. I hope Elena doesn't have to deal with the cultural appropriation nonsense. I had never thought about Shirley Manson but you get no argument from me. I am a Shirley Manson fan because of Garbage but also from her role on the Terminator television series in which she was fantastic.
Yes, both the Gwen Stefani and the Shirley Manson comparisons were compliments. This band looks and sounds great. Very cool, interesting and intriguing. They deserve a larger audience and I hope they break through soon! Thank you once more, Dan. We truly appreciate the ongoing support!
Interesting was, that the last words of hope weren’t portrayed in the video. No cheering up, no blue sky. I agree with the Matrix comparison. It also reminded me of the dystopian atmosphere in the Carpenter film Escape from New York with Kurt Russell. But the most interesting line or me was: The walls are high, the ceiling low. I wonder if they talk about beeing young artists in Moldava.
It is possible that reference has something to do with being young artists in Moldova, but we have no clue as to the state of affairs in the music industry over there, but that is an interesting direction indeed. A very cool, interesting band that probably deserve a larger audience. Thank you for taking the time to view and engage yet again, Andrea. Much appreciated!
I love Dan he has the same taste of music than me. 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
I’d suggest longing as second song of infected rain
