I'm watching thru all your videos right now. Studson is to blame. I appreciate it so much that you show the finished thing first and then how you got there. Amazing content
This is absolutely divine! I just started with air dry clay, and have almost no skills whatsoever. So it's my goal to improve enough to make this! Thank you for explaining the small details too, it really helps!
It’s absolutely beautiful ma’am! You made it SO beautifully! AND you explained it so well as well. I am making it for a friend right now. 🙂Thanks to YOU!
My favourite Totoro scene, this is so cute! I am very intimated by clay, but I think I’ll need to get over it if I want to make more things XD. Is this the polymer clay where you need to bake it so that it hardens before painting? Which brand do you use?
The iconic bus scene is hard to beat, but the tranquility of this specific moment really shined above all the rest in the movie for me. It is! Most polymer clay brands have different baking instructions but it’s all pretty much the same and any home oven is good enough. I know I said it in the other comment I responded to, but I use Original Sculpey (at Walmart it’s insanely cheap compared to most polymer clay) and the occasions where I use colored polymer clay I usually use the cheapest store brand like craftsmart! The original sculpey is quite soft and very easily gets your fingerprints on it so it does take a bit of smoothing out before (with acetone or isopropyl alcohol) or after baking (with sandpaper).
@@CrossingCrafts Thanks so much for the tips! Btw I love how you did the cave and the plants and details, and Totoro and Mei. That’s basically the whole thing LOL
