the flowers the great faireies reside in are based on rafflesia. they smell horrible, apparently like corpses, but attract so many flies and insects to them. theyre massive irl
well today i learned two things: that malanya is a male, and that the great fairy fountains are situated in flowers that look like rafflesia (corpse flowers) so.. rad. awesome video, i love finding new miniature creators :)

Ok this one stuns me too. I would love to request a TOTK Zelda if you can, or have time. I love her new outfit and hair and I think you should create like a little TOTK village of people, maybe a stable or two, etc. Love your designs and your painting technique is fantastic.
I only realized how much of a fan I am of Malanya until Tears of the Kingdom, where he can upgrade your horses' stats. He's just... nat!
I only just realised that the horses on top of the stables kind of resemble him, like in the pieced together style, and the neck/top of the head portions 😅
I just googled the stable and now I second guess my memory 😅

fun fact! the flower they pop out of looks a lot like flowers from the toxonomical family, Rafflesiaceae, aka Stinking Corpse Lilies! they are parasitic plants that embed into the host plant via fungus-like tendrils, and attract flies and beetles with their stench for pollination. They smell really bad, as you can imagine from the name. :3 Their "pollen" is really more of a goop than a powder, and they produce heat! wild!

I think they are actually the inside part of the corpse flower, not mushrooms
