He didn’t intend to offend anyone.
It is ok. It happens to everyone. I was more surprised when Judson pronounced Klitschko's last name so well.

which does make sense of course considering the ending to Deutschland is a slightly changed version of the Piano version of Sonne from the Klavier album they released for their 21st anniversary in 2015.
It's Sonne. As said above is correct... And it's only on the music video (during credit sequence), not the studio version.

You absolutely have to watch the video for Rammstein's song "Deutschland ". Make sure to watch the credits. They play a piano version of Sonne. Judson would love to see how he pulled the piano version exactly from the rock version. Plus it's an amazing song and a stunning video!

How to "German vowels":
- "a" = "uh"
- "e" = "ai" like in "air"
- "i" = "ee"
- "o" = like the "o" in "sorry"
- "u" = "ooh", like in "moooh"
And the "S" in "Sonne" is a voiced s like in "amuse"
So: "Mutter" = "Moottuh", "Sonne" is more like "Sonneh".
And yes, "Mutter" means mother :)

I would say the S starts with tongue at the roof of the mouth rather than the curved tongue s in English but that may be too specific.
S is basically pronounced like Z.
The voice that Flack creates on his keyboard 🎹 is amazing as it adds so much dynamics to the song and when Judson played the chorus it reminded me of the end of Deutschland in the credit section.
The sheer intensity and energy in their music is mind-b. At the moment I'm loving Nick Thurl Mavromatis' new song, you should definitely react to it!

The story I heard was that he had this song commissioned, they wrote it, but his managers turned it down because it was "too heavy" and wouldn't be popular with the fans. So they used it on the album instead.

Probably one of the greatest music videos of the era, I saw them play this live and managed to be in the front row. The stage was so hot I literally had to close my eyes at some points from all the pyro.
I should also mention that I think Til (the singer) wrote this as a walk in for a boxer, at least that was the rumour at the time and it makes the whole counting to 10 make sense.

Their approach to harmony is pretty interesting and they definitely have their own thing going.
I've always felt like if there was a hell, and it had a sound track it would be Rammstein. Heavy, dark, melodic, always hammering away.
Klitshko is from Ukraine actually but apart from that nice reaction. The video for this song is also worth checking out. Although it might be good that you checked this out without it since the awesomeness might have taken the attention from the music.

also i can highly recommend lyric videos from guys like educated marine or any other youtube channels caus in most rammsteins songs there is so much (double) meaning and metaphors that you dont catch if you simply dont understand the language
and as also a few others here mentioned - the song never made it as klitschkos entrance theme, since his management rejected it. which is also why rammstein had to come up with a whole different idea for the music video, as they kind of expected to make the original video as some sort of a boxing compilation related thing. but with "klitschko" turning into "sonne" as the songtitle, rammstein came up with a fancy idea of snowwhite and the 7 miners :D

Well it's kind of unfair... There is already an almost perfectly played piano version of Sonne, and was used as "Outro" for "Rammstein - Deutschland".
Btw, Rammstein also got a Piano Cover CD (I think it was from 2013 or something like that) where (I think it was Flake, the guy on the synth) recorded many popular Rammstein Songs.
There's an official piano version off the XX album and it's BEAUTIFUL 😊 check it out
Part in D minor, when it is dark and the sun has not yet come out. Next we have countdown and D major part. There is some logic. I remember the mixture of minor-major transitions also in the song Depeche Mode "Enjoy the silence"

This guy should listen to folk songs from southern Serbia and Bulgaria that are sung by women. They are discordant and "weird" according to western classical music rules, but they sound incredible and transcendental.
I'd love to see Judson try to wrap his head around a song like Berzerker by After the Burial thats an almost perfect mix between neoclassical melodies and straight up djent grooves back to back with no warning
