I recently started running and your IG was the first thing that popped into my feed and I just love the realistic approach you have towards running. I've never run in my life, turned 42 this year and honestly don't know what I was thinking 😂. But seeing you makes me not give up hope that someday I might move on from 5K to hopefully run half and even full marathons. Thank you for keeping it real! 😅 Also congratulations on your marathon!! You slay queen!!!!! 👑🎉

Good for you on your recent running bug! Our host is absolutely correct: You can definitely do it! I started a regular running regimen at age 45 (5K +/-, for a while), ran my first half-marathon at 48, wherein at that finish line (in a hurricane, btw!) I promised myself that I'd run more "half's", but in the same breath swore that I would never even attempt a full, that is until - this year's NYC Marathon, where I "gifted" myself my first 26.2 mile race for my 50th birthday! You just never know where running (or any sport) can take you, who you'll meet on the way, and how taking part in the running community and challenges will change you! Make running a great experience for yourself, and never have it be a burden in your life; work up to whatever distance you want, as long as it's fun. Good luck!

Congratulations, Hannah! Those bridges were the best (views) and the worst (climbs) of the whole race! That last walk-out (Mile 27, essentially!) truly was one of the hardest parts of the race; thank goodness for that poncho! Well done, and thanks for this v-log!

Firstly well done on completing the NYC marathon Hannah! You should be so proud of yourself!
This video is so good! It brings back all of the memories of the marathon for me, and you captured the whole trip so well. I did a lot of similar things - Liberty Bagels, etc. and it's great to be reminded of the memories! Having run it for the second time this year, I completely agree that the Queensboro bridge is sooo hard - the uphill, the quiet, and the lack of spectators makes it so hard, but also knowing that the first part of First Ave is uphill!
Wish I'd checked out that pizza - it looks so good!
    Well done again!
