The instructions on how wide to pull are golden. Mike has talked before about not getting bunched up by pulling too narrow, but I never understood the way to think about it until now. This was a great session.
The way she looks at the camera you can just tell it's working. Love these instructional videos. Love her dedication and ability to listen and execute everything you say. I need an every body part day with bella!! Keep it up!
My gym has zero of these machines but I love my gym because it's $20 a month and open 24/7. I saved this video so I can re-watch and cue myself while attempting the cable uni pulls.
One of the through lines I see with Mike's movements is that there is almost like a slowdown/brake at the change of direction in both ends of a movement. And it translates into a smooth controlled rep that never loses tension on the muscle. Fixing that quick change of direction is a must if you want to get better at movements, cheers!
Bella is no joke, what a great session. Definitely pick up a lot of great movement and techniques from watching this video. This was better than watching the one with the pro bodybuilder’s. I saw more in this video with Bella. Thanks.
Hello Mike - it would be great if you could make a video where you would show pairs of the same exercises (on the same equipment) done in 2 different variations - for upper back and for lats in "back to back" fashion - this way it would be clearer to get the difference between the technique for upper back vs for lats. Thank you for the great tips you give. One question - when in row exercises should we cave our chest in and let our back round in the negative portion of the lift - in upper back movements? f I get it right you advocate in rows done specifically for lats (as opposed to upper back) keeping the spine arched throughout the whole movement without letting the spine round and caving the chest?
💯 Kung Fu Bodybuilding. Refers to any study, learning, or practice that requires patience, energy, and time to complete. In its original meaning, kung fu can refer to any discipline or skill achieved through hard work and practice.
It’s good to see you training someone awhile you’re talking about it. Idk for me I thinks it’s better and get more outta your videos when you shoot videos this way. If you know what I mean. Don’t get me wrong I love your rants and when you go off on people training stupidly and think they know everything about working out lol..
Whether this question is to you Mike or subscribers I just wanted to know how you're training all these people as in how many exercises each body part sets and reps. Heavy then drop sets? Working sets then heavy? I wanna incorporate what you're doing.
Love his patience and how he puts his instruction simplistically. "Pull wider than you are"....love it!
A great coach! Descriptive of the cues. A good student too. Bella rocks!
It sounds so obvious when he says things but yet when I lift I’m doing everything wrong that he mentions , what a great mind in the sport .
I feel like I could watch this multiple times and still learn more. Love the coaching Mike! And great work Bella!
more beginner friendly workout. learn so much. thanks mike.
