I think it is totally possible for them to get together without ruining Arya's charecter. IMO having a strong female character who is rejecting traditional gender roles is often portrayed as way too one-sided; what's wrong with being strong, but also still wanting things like love and family? I hope that's where they go with Arya.
I think that will just ruin her character thats not her like she said from the very start they should just let her complete her list hope they dont kill her before that

Besides these scenes I liked the one Arya wants to attack the Hound and Gendry catches her, obviously for protecting her because he knew Sandor was very dangerous.

In the books, Arya is the only person Gendry has opened up to since his mother's death. He is never seen being friendly or playful to any other characters except Arya. Other POV characters have described him as sullen, angry, defensive and not very friendly.
He was also pretty defensive with every other character on the show. As soon as Jon made a joke about Robert (his dad) he immediately insulted Jon by calling him short, as a way to 'defend' his dad. Jon obviously took this as a joke but by the look on Gendry's face, he instantly realised he shouldn't have said it but he couldn't help himself. True he is more friendly in general, but he seems to get annoyed quickly and is pretty defensive. Maybe I'm looking into it too much but that's my opinion.

I hope they end up together I always think back to when Arya says to Sansa neither of them got to be who they wanted to be. But Arya did become who she wanted to be a warrior. So makes me wonder if she wanted to be Gendry's Lady, since she told him he could be her family. That she really changed her mind.
Well I was really shocked when they did what they did in S8e02, i never had any hopes that we would get such a scene, I'm really happy now. I'm afraid that means something terrible in future episodes but for now I just want to enjoy it

There's a TON of foreshadowing for this match on many many levels in the books and show. If Dave and Dan wanted to change GRRM's clues, they could have. Honestly, I think shallow fans want S+G because they're both "hot", which is the worst reason two people should get together. Especially with them as they'd be completely incompatible. Sansa looks down on smallfolk and manual laborers (which Gendry is, for now) and Gendry dislikes highborns and would be infuriated by her snobbery. Arya must have some independence and self-expression, and Gendry will allow that. Honestly, they're the best and most healthy match in the show.

Also in Maisie last interview for the season to come she mention how in season 8 Arya has a complete new vision. So maybe... you know what they would be so lovely together. He is like the perfect choice for Arya. He understand her upraised better than anyone since he walked along side that her. And Arya would be able to provide him with a strong alliance. The Baratheon name would continue and the offspring of them or the future of the storm lands would be haft Stark haft Baratheon.
There is a chapter in the books, when they are in Acorn Hall, the lady makes Arya wear a dress, and Gendry tolds Arya that she looks pretty, then they start to fight/play. I really love that chapter and that is why i ship them soo Hard ❤️

This quote echoed as Sansa passed Catelyn's statue in the Crypts teaser. Sansa will love a motherless child, her first husband Tyrion Lannister, and join him.

Dandy Campusano facts Jon is out of the question, way to weird 😂 and honestly even if they weren’t related I think their good relationship comes from the fact that it’s platonic. both are too stubborn to be a good couple even if they weren’t related. honestly gendry is a little odd too only cause I’m not one hundred percent sure how old he was when he met Arya. I know times were different back then but if he was over 18 when she was like 11 or 12 it would be weird at least to me for him to get with her. I know age differences like that happen all the time but not usually if the person knew you when you were little like that lol.
If Gendrya doesn't happen I will cry. I love the chemistry between the two of them and both me and my sister believe that's why he rowed away in the first place. You could smell the chemistry between Joe and Maisie/Gendry and Arya from the minute they shared their first scene together. I was perfectly content with their first reunion. Gendry's voice cracked for a second and it was lovely. I loved the flirting. I loved the fact that you could tell they still love each other.
I admire the way Mazie Williams gives Arya a stare that should frighten any sentient being. That look is the God of Death saying "I am here and you are mine. Today" I wonder how such a trained and experienced cold blooded killer can be so damned adorable. And that she is.

That was the Warrior queen's name? I always forget. Never read the books yet. But always thinking about that when its Arya & Gendry. Arya as his Queen but also the Warrior that goes out into battles. Gendry would want anything for her. I always go to the scene in tv show were she says 'I can be your family' & I think he checks her out up & down before she turns and says that. So I hope they happen.
I don't think there will be a need to legitimize Gendry as a Baratheon because I think it will be revealed that he is Robert and Cersei's son and thus, the legitimate heir to The Iron Throne. I also think that he, and not John, is Azor Ahai.
With only a week until the start of season 8, this is definitely one of the big reunions I am looking forward to. I have always thought even before Sansa and Joffrey didn't happen that this would happen. It makes me think of a healthier version of the Lyanna and Robert betrothal. I sincerely think that they would be good for each other and even if Gendry does not become a Lord I still think if their attraction for each other is re-sparked, Arya would still chose to marry him.
At this point, I don't see gendry inheriting anything. Daenerys thing is "breaking the wheel", this could be interpreted as the removal of great and lower houses. They could still end up together, but it probably won't be as lord snd and lady

I was perfectly content with their first reunion. Gendry's voice cracked for a second and it was lovely. I loved the flirting. I loved the fact that you could tell they still love each other.

With only a week until the start of season 8, this is definitely one of the big reunions I am looking forward to. I have always thought even before Sansa and Joffrey didn't happen that this would happen. It makes me think of a healthier version of the Lyanna and Robert betrothal. I sincerely think that they would be good for each other and even if Gendry does not become a Lord I still think if their attraction for each other is re-sparked, Arya would still chose to marry him.
