Why do brits have such weird metaphors/similies that they use, or is that just falcore?
I disagree with your strategy, you can only hold the door for so long be before you are overwhelmed, but you can however loop them around the second level and pick them off a couple at a time. I have done this multiple times and it works pretty well if they aren't gold.

I did forts solo most of the time at least a 100 times, but I still love watching this video.
Treelias could you possibly help me out with forts I am super close to pl and am tired of taking 30 minutes to do one fort

Tip 1: wait until someone else does it and mega barrel them.
Another tip: every fort has a blind spot where you can dock and not get shot by cannons.
On most, you can simply park in between the island and one of the cannons and snipe the one on shore firing at you, since most of the shore cannons (the ones not in offshore towers) will be relieved of their operators, who will attack you instead. They respawn if the crew dies, though.
Saw a post somewhere that showed the blind spots for each fort

"You can always come back for your loot later" - Unless there is a server merge, in which case the Fort key is a shiny useless trinket.
Unless a different fort goes active, in which case you can confuse the fuck out of the next dude to try to do the fort.
Falcore! You failed to mention that golden skellies (bling skellies as I call them), rust when in contact with water (Sea, rain or bucket), so they take more damage per hit.
Good charisma, informative and now easily my favourite sea of THIIEEVVEES youtuber 😂 keep up the good work man

Falcore! You're better than this. Inform new players that inactive forts are an amazing resource spot and kegs galore.
And Rowboats, most of the time. At least that's in my experience.
I did lots of forts alone. I have to agree that some of the forts are disgusting when done alone but the more often you trie, you'll see where the best places for anchoring are and all in all you get better.
I made up some kind of a tactic for me: when you encounter only normal skeletons with red "headscarfes" and they have all kinds of weapons (most annoying in my opinion), get up in the main tower, take out your sword, wait till skeletons come up the stairs/ramps and dash through. Quickly run further back to get out of sight to not get shot by the skeletons, wait till they come around and dash again.
This "tactic" gets better the you are used to it. I hope, I could help.

Also keep the mega keg to the side in case another ship decides to attack you. Successfully blew up a Galleon last night that was parked at the outpost waiting for me to finish the fort. Saw them coming in and swam around them waiting for them to anchor and attack my ship. Climbed aboard and dropped it on the second deck. Instant kill and pretty much took everyone out since they were noobs and didn't send someone to my ship to make sure I didn't repair.

A good choke point for LoS attacks is the ramps on the top tier of the
Main fort. And if you get overwhelmed you hop down and repeat. Also gives you a good vantage point to scan the horizon for player ships during the waves and not just between them.
Bit of an awkward time to drop this vid since the forts just received an update, that means there is now 3 boss waves at the end, one of which being a Skeleton Lord. Makes it much harder to quickly grind / do solo. Also, was very exciting meeting you randomly yesterday :P Next time I'll try not to crash my ship into the dock though *facepalm*
Fun fact, if you do take the fort key and bring it to a different active fort, you can unlock it and loot that fort whilst dodging the skeleton waves (good way to loot a fort without it looking like you just cleared a fort, which would normally invite the fort vultures...)

Think it should be said that the skeletons don't automatically stop shooting at you once you reach the fort, you need to find a blind spot where their cannons can't reach you.
Great video and all but I have one problem with it. Once you have opened the vault and got all of your incredible loot that will give you so much gold. How do you stop other crews sneaking onto your ship whilst you are moving the last bit of treasure from blowing up your ship and then taking the loot in a rowboat. That time was so annoying as I was a beginner to the game and I could have gotten so much cash

Golden skellies are vunerable to water they go "Rusty" when splashed and as Falcore said dont water the plants.....
Btw, the gold skeletons get slower and weaker when they get in water, so you can lure them into water, or hit them with water from your bucket

Also, haven’t finished the vid yet, but Skellies don’t come off the dock on the fort I did. I sat in the water at the end of the fort dock and just slashed them.

Tip: splash gold skeletons with water buckets to cover them with rust and use guns or kegs to kill them
Hidden Spring Keep has an area where the skeletons can't reach you and there is an ammo box bellow you.
I did the fort of the damned solo and the key glitched so all my effort meant nothing😭

The most annoying things about forts is trying to get all the loot on your ship because you have to keep going back and forth

Spent like 2 hours Soloing lost gold fort. And ended up having no loot inside. I really didn't care about the loot and I was just proud I did my first fort. I ain't touching lost gold fort again.

You will get gunpowder kegs at inactive forts a lot of them I take a pit stop at them to sell them at the Merchant alliance
Molten sands is really easy, when solo there seemed to be only swords so you can sit in the water and kill them. Also, geysers will kill the skeletons for you
Actually molten sands is pretty smart to do because literally nobody goes there
I'm glad that Captian Falcore has the same despite of Summit as I do.

what has changed about forts? now in 2022 the cannon skellies sink you before you even get close to the fort and they never stop firing once you do manage to get there...

Last night, me and my crew were just messing about and came upon a galleon. We came up to them and they asked us for alliance. We proceeded to annihilate them, and they sunk. We sit at the outpost, and then we see them coming up behind us quickly. We sail, and then what do we see. They are in an alliance. We look to our right and their is a galleon making a b line for us. Then a brig enters the fray. We had sunk someone in a server alliance, and now we had to fight them. We let the first galleon chase us and dropped one of my crew overboard with a keg. They sunk easily enough as a meg was also attacking them. We battled the other galleon, keeping away from the brig. The galleon sunk as their cannons were two high and our boarders were two dangerous. We then began to kill the brig, we involved a chase. Finally, we went back to the outpost and sold all of their nice loot. However, they continually res pawned and came for us. They finally sunk us because we ran out of supplies. They invited us to a party and said they only wanted an alliance. We said no, and they began insulting one of my friends for the way he speaks (he has a speech impediment). So, this angered me to the point I verbally assaulted them until they kicked me from the party. I rejoin, do it again, and at this point I should be charged with first degree murder. They tried to keep me away but I always came back.
Tl:dr My crew physically killed a sever alliance, and then I verbally destroyed each and every player.

I don't think I've ever had this much distain for a public Persona as I've had for Summit. I just find something about his approach to gaming in general to be cringy.

I spent an hour and a half on the new ashen fort (Solo) and once I defeated the boss, I opened the vault and.... nothing. I just got off

Yup you do all the work for a shiny skeleton key and then look at it while you sail into the red sea
i did my first fort a few days ago with my cousin and it still took me 2 hour and we died like 50 just on the boss round by itself

gather 6 kegs ,take 10 firebombs one firebomb for each wave.....bring skeletonlord to the kegs .blow them up...done (sorry for my bad english)thats how i solve forts in 10 minutes without fighting these days :D
