Wow, you're going to do nice things then! 😀 I still have a lot to learn. 🙂 Unfortunately, on clay the size of the clay limits the results, but I try. Dilute the paint only with water, do not use pouring medium (Liquitex, Floetrol, Elmer's Glue, ...), I tried it and the end result was not good!
Thank you for sharing this idea, I really enjoy your videos.♥ Loved this idea, tried it myself, but it was an absolute disaster! I've obviously done something very wrong. the cutters wouldn't go through the paint and I had to use a craft knife to cut out the shapes, then when I tried to lift the shapes out of the clay the paint layer started to peel off especially where I hadn't cut all the way through. maybe the paint? I used pouring paint, never mind, I'll have another go, it's such a pretty technique. 😊
Dear Caroline, I'm so glad you like my videos, thank you. ❤️ Dilute the paint only with water, do not use pouring medium (Liquitex, Floetrol, Elmer's Glue, ...), I tried it and the end result was not good!🙁 Olga Soby (she is a nature-inspired abstract artist working primarily in acrylic pouring and fluid art techniques) used a recipe in which she only diluted the paint with water. This worked for me too. If your acrylic paint can also be used with clay, I think then there will be no problem with paint diluted with water. After drying, the paint will have a very thin, flexible layer on it. I usually push the shape out of the cutter from the back to the front, so the paint on the edge is not damaged. I show this at 5:17 in my video "Unique acrylic painting technique on polymer clay". I use this brand (Royal Talens), but I suspect other brands may also be suitable. I recommend Ginger Davis Allman's article on paints, I also learned a lot from her. thebluebottletree.com/painting-polymer-clay/ I hope I was able to help your project succeed 🙂
@@aginekojewelry thank you so much for replying. 😊I watched your video several times more after your reply and noticed that your paint is quite runny when you are rolling around the clay. My paint was definitely too thick, which would account for all the problems I had. I'm eager to have another try, thanks ♥
Wow! This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing. After the paint dries, do you have any issues with the paint cracking or pealing when cutting into shapes?
Thank you very much! 🙂 The clay did not crack when cut, because the paint will be a very thin, flexible layer on it. I usually push the shape out of the cutter from the back to the front, so the paint on the edge is definitely not damaged. I show this at 5:17 in my video "Unique Acrylic Painting Technique On Polymer Clay".
Positively beautiful work. Thank you for sharing. I have a question. Did you apply the Fimo Gloss on top of the UV RESIN or on the back or both sides? Again, thanks for sharing
Thanks for the video. I've never worked with polymer clay. Are you using an already baked sheet before you start? And if so, how are you shaping them afterwards?
A very sharp metal or plastic cutter is required. Unfortunately, I missed the cutting part in this video, but in my video "Crackle Effect With Acrylic Ink - Acrylic Pouring Technique On Polymer Clay (Part 2)" you can see how I did it from 4:44. Move the cutter slightly horizontally and important push the piece out of the mold from the back to the front. 🙂
I use this brand, but I suspect other brands may also be suitable. I recommend Ginger Davis Allman's article on paints, I also learned a lot from her. However, only dilute the paint with water, there were problems with the pouring mediums! thebluebottletree.com/painting-polymer-clay/
The drying time depends on the thickness of the paint, but you will see it once it has dried. If you want to be sure, cut out the shape the next day. (I usually do it the next day.) 🙂

Perfect video. Very clear; esp. showing the tools and products. A natural teacher and a fine artist!! Appreciation.
Thank you very much! 🙂
Pouring was my first love until I discovered clay. Thanks for pairing the techniques.. I will be getting out my paints🙏🏽

Beautiful
When do you punch the findings holes?
Thank you! 🙂 I always drill the hole at the end, after preparing the resin layer.

Absolutely beautiful! Is marble powder the same as mica powder? Thank you for sharing your talent. ❤
Thank you very much! 🙂 No, the marble powder is used for coloring resin, it works differently than mica powder.
@@aginekojewelry thank you, I will investigate getting some.
What a lovely effect! I was wondering, is marble powder the same as mica powder? I've never heard of it before ✌️❤️
Thank you very much! No, they are not the same. Marble powder is used for coloring and marbling resins :-)
Positively beautiful work. Thank you for sharing. I have a question. Did you apply the Fimo Gloss on top of the UV RESIN or on the back or both sides? Again, thanks for sharing
Thank you very much :-) I only applied the Fimo Gloss on the sides and the back!
💕
Thanks for the video. I've never worked with polymer clay. Are you using an already baked sheet before you start? And if so, how are you shaping them afterwards?
I painted the clay before baking, cut out the shape after the paint had dried, and only then baked the pieces 🙂
How did you apply the resin?
You can see it from 12:45 on the video timeline below:

And...Is acrylic for paper? Beautifol...
Thank you 🙂 This acrylic can be used in general (on paper, canvas, glass, plastic...)
@@aginekojewelry 👍😉
How did you cut the shapes through the paint skin? I have not been able to cut through the dried paint with a clay cutter.

Should I do something like this for the bases of a new Warhammer army? 🤔
Hi, I'm not that familiar with the Warhammer universe. If you mean using polymer clay nfor the basis, then in theory yes it should work 😊
Will other brands of acrylic paint work or does it have to be this specific brand?
I use this brand, but I suspect other brands may also be suitable. I recommend Ginger Davis Allman's article on paints, I also learned a lot from her. However, only dilute the paint with water, there were problems with the pouring mediums!

How long does dry time take? I really want to try this just need to have an idea about that so i dont prematurely cut it 😂
The drying time depends on the thickness of the paint, but you will see it once it has dried. If you want to be sure, cut out the shape the next day. (I usually do it the next day.) 🙂
Hallo,sorry být I don't speak english,what kind colors? No banking? 😳
Hello, sorry, I don't understand the question. 😕 Try using google translate. 🙂
Δεν διχνετε σωστα πως το κανετε το πλαστικο και πως το κοβετε

Colors becaume to murky
After drying and baking, it will really be murky, but the resin will give it a shine again.
