Oh boy. That was one outrageously amazing tutorial. You know I don’t think I’ve ever seen a tutorial that was so gorgeous through each step. Admittedly, since I had no clue where you were going when you laid the bronze onto your veneer my heart sank just a bit. But then! What a glorious effect you achieved! And the difference the buffing made - that hollow bead is one of the most beautiful beads I’ve ever seen. All of the pieces once laid out at the end were stunning. Thank you, rainy day that made you think to produce this video! Thank you for sharing your time and amazing talent. I’d say I was speechless, which in my heart I suppose I an, but I’ve written too much to make that sound true! You are so creative! I just loved that long strip before you rolled it. The colors you chose are simply beautiful! Again, thank you so much!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this wonderful video! I love labradorite and this is such an easy to follow demonstration! Beautiful results. They remind me of butterfly wings. Once again, thank you so much for showing how to create something so beautiful in an easy to follow video!
It amazes me what different techniques and effects you make with such beautiful results . You have totally inspired me these last few months. Thank you so much ☺️
I have seen so many other tutorials for faux labradorite and to date, yours is by far the best likeness to the real stone. This is one that I'll try very definitely. Thank you for the great suggestions.
I recently came across your videos/channel and, after watching a couple of your tutes I was hooked, subscribe & inspired - so being a rational jewellery maker (beads & resin) I got myself some clay, moulds, cutters & tools. I'm loving the polymer clay learning curve (made a few mistakes lol, including burning a batch), & trying your techniques. I think this technique/faux stone is is my fave so far - simply beautiful results!! Anyway, I just wanted to thank you Deb, loving your work. X
Labradorite is one of my favorite stones, I love how yours turned out. The colours in it are beautiful, I will definitely be trying this out. Love love your tutorials.🥰🥰🥰💜
So incredibly beautiful! And so simple with your technique. I personally think this is the BEST tutorial I has seen so far. Thank you so much for sharing this.❤
Phenomenibly beautiful. That's the prettiest faux labradorite that I have EVER seen! How do artists (aka geniuses) know how to replicate a stone so well? I can't get over how much I live your rendition! THANK YOU for sharing this with us. I also had a hard time making the correct shape (cone) of clay but, thankx to you), I am going to try it again! You brought beauty to my rainy day....😊👍💛💙💚💜
I happened on your channel quite by accident. I’ve been wanting to get a piece of labradorite to make a pendant from, then I saw this. I did have a time when I played around with this medium many years ago. This has inspired me to start up again. Thanks again for this tutorial.
I saw some pieces that someone shared on the Facebook group, and thought they looked beautiful! But, until now, hadn't watched the tutorial (my bad 😊) Deb made! How something so simple can create something so beautiful...?!? I'm going to give it a try! Thanks Deb for sharing!
Deb Absolutely Gorgeous Pieces , I could Listen To Your Voice For Days Well I guess I do because I watch and Learn From your videos each and everyday I never get tired and watching 💚💙What is So Cute I Have A Fur Baby One Of My Kitties That Each and Every time I Watch Your Videos She Comes Running Jumping Up In My Lap And Doesn’t Move If I Watch 2 or 3 Hours She will Watch And NeverTakes HerEyes Off She Knows Your Voice She Can Be Dead Asleep But As Soon As She Hears Your Voice She Takes A Leap In My Lap Watching The Laptop Screen It’s Absolutely Adorable …. Those are amazing!! I love my buff wheel too! Isn’t it wonderful that you can get the pieces so shiny?! Lovely work as usual!!! Thank you for sharing!!
I just watched this and it is so amazing!!!!!!!!!! Ive seen several videos on diff version of this and I abs love this. thank you for your inspirations.
These are amazing. I would say that Labradorite is my fave stone, but then I see another stone you've made and I think that is my fave stone. So I'm just gonna say, love em all
This technique is great! It looks so lovely when it has all been blended before the bullseye, so yummy I could eat it!Labradorite is my favourite stone so this demo is perfect for me! Bit disconcerting listening to you they cos are voices are very similar!
This is absolutely gorgeous! I cant help but compare it to a labdorite pendant I bought years ago (pre DIY clay) that didnt have any colour other than black. I was so disappointed but they said that was the usual colour and I couldnt get my money back. Thank you for showing us how to make the stone from clay! Now, I can have a real looking pendent! 💙💜🧡👍😊
Deb after each new video, I think how can she top that one - well you just did it once again. I love this one and cannot wait to try it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent with us.
Turns out so pretty...I wonder if this same method could be used to make faux Ammonite ...Love your tutorials, I'm learning so much...Thank you..🇨🇦🇨🇦💖💖💖😍
This is absolutely fantastic! Of course I would watch something that makes me want to get to claying right NOW when I'm taking a break from deap cleaning and organizing so everything is spread all over and my supplies are no where near accessible and don't have a clean surface if I did find them. lol I've very curious about your buffer. I've used a friend's Foredom, but those come in at $200. That model you have (I just priced it) is on clearance in my region at Harbor Freight at less than a quarter the price! Might have to go get one. I have a vice for my Dremel, but it would be nice to have a little more surface area. Thanks so much for sharing! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your channel and content!
Thank you! Yes, my buffer cost $39, I think. I’ve recently opened a polymer clay group on Facebook. You’re more than welcome to join! facebook.com/groups/265833918717989/
Thank you. That means a lot, especially as someone told me it looks nothing like labradorite, publicly, in a Facebook group. Felt kinda stupid there for a minute, and had me questioning its likeness. I mean, I know it’s not super realistic, but I do think it’s passable 😃
@@clayboutique are they blind? because I meant it (and you can see from the comments that I’m definitely not the only one!) keep rocking your art because you’re amazing!!

I absolutely love your tutorials! I am completely novice and the way you explain things makes me think I can actually do this. One question though, do you hand mix your clay with the mica powder before putting it through the roller?
Stunning. I didn't realise how much beauty could be achieved with clay! Could i use the domed beads as camochans? As i'm just starting(not actually made anything yet lol) is it wise to wait a while before getting a pasta machine? Take care🤗🇬🇧
Yes they can be cabochons. Well, if you’re not sure whether you’re gonna like claying, it might be an idea to hold off on a pasta machine, but having said that, you’re not gonna be able to roll the clay thin and even enough without one.
Thank you so much for sharing. Im learning something new all the time. Beautiful work and so easy to follow. Thank you so much and wow gorgeous work. Keep it up

This is, hands down, the best method for faux labradorite (among several very good ones) that I have seen. Great work.
Oh, thank you very much! ❤️
So beautiful. It's so good how you explained and did it, so that even though I only have basic clay skills I feel I could do this.
