I did indeed :) I actually started with Google before I got into Facebook, although when I started you couldn't advertise on Facebook.
How dose it work
This video is super helpful, loved it! I do have a question, if I'm an in-house digital marketing specialist and have to create and run google ads for a big company in a specific market myself, does it work if the company hasn't have a website yet, or is Google Ad account set up only available if the company has a website? Another question is should I be using my personal gmail account to set up a Google Ad account for the company in my case?

Ben, my friend, great job at doing such your free video tutorials. You're the only person thus far from others I've seen, that I can actually understand. What sucks though, is how quick throwout the year, Google makes updates to their products and how they look so different then when you made this video. I have spent more than 2hrs already trying to figure out this "conversion actions" step required for when creating a new campaign. But I haven't been lucky as of yet in making the connection.😥. I'll keep trying I guess. Lol

The way Google forces you to build out a Smart type campaign before allowing access to Expert mode is extortionate and should be stopped in my opinion. It's an ambush if anything. Great little tut; this will help anyone wade through the nonsense quicker! Thanks Ben.

I have to say that there were some funny side events sometimes, but a lot of times I felt bored and didn't know what to do because there was not much happening that would caught my attention. For movie you made, it is just my own preference that other folks may like it or not.

Hey, ben i have watched 70% of your Facebook ads videos. I’m good at it (in depth), I would like to lean google ads so I will start from your channel. Would you do a video of comparison between google ads and Facebook ads. In Facebook, we need to verify the domain, set up aggregated events, conversion events/API, pixels & pixel setup in websites, business details & verifications, business manager access, etc... So is everything the same on Google and how does it work (pixels, conversion events like that) Please do a video from basics... It would help us a lot.

I have just watched this video and I would like to share my opinion with you. In short, it was quite enjoyable, although I felt that at times it was a bit too slow. The information helped me.
Definitely the most recent and relevant video to help beginners setup. I looked through 3 other videos before finding yours and the others were already outdated! It's such a shame with all the time you guys put into these You Tube video tutorials that Google is constantly changing their ad set up pathway. They should have kept the option to choose "Expert Mode" from the onset, like you suggested! Thanks for the video! Now, on to your Keyword Research Video! Thumbs up & saved!! Love it 😊, I run an agency, I need to get access to my clients Google Manager Account & create Google ads account and run ads for them.
So my question is
Is it possible to create a Google Ad account directly from our client's Google Ads manager account to run ads?
I have watched some videos they're creating ads account first and then Google manager account, some are not even creating ads manager account!
How to connect our google ads account with our ads manager account?
To get access to the Google Ads Manager, create ad accounts, and run ads, they need both accounts right? And if we just get admin access to their Google Manager account, we can create a Google Ads account and run ads directly from their Ads Manager account right?
Or How does this work? On Facebook, they give us their business manager account access and we create ad accounts from their business manager and run ads.
Is this the same in Google ads? Or do we need to create an ads manager and ad account separately? And connect the ads account to the ads manager?
First I will create a Google Business Manager account for myself. The clients are new to Google ads, so in onboarding, I will tell them to create Google Ads Manager first and I'll get access to their Ads Manager then I will create an account from their ads manager directly to run ads, does this work?

I can't get the first screen you got when you chose create a new account. When I click on create a new account, it just reloads the home screen of Google ads. Then, I go around in that circle over and over. What is wrong?
For me it says that i have reached the maximum number of manager accounts. AND i have NEVER created one. Any ideas please?

Question: When setting up to optimize for sales, the recommended setting is "Customer Begins Checkout." Why would I want to choose this over "customers complete a purchase"?

Google is recommending that because you will trigger more of those events and than full purchases and the extra data will allow for optimization.
But I agree with you, between those two I'd optimize for what you really want.

Really struggling with getting to Google ads manager when I am in Google Ads window. Need to request access to my clients accounts but cant seem to find any button for this?

Your ad account setup video, i went through it so I could setup conversion events but there doesn't seem to be anything there regarding the same. Am I missing something ? I had already gone through the video and was like how did I miss that bit, but just went through it again -_-

Followed these steps exactly 2 days ago and i got a suspended account for circumventing systems policy. no idea why. paused the ad and everything. didnt create a new one. just left it and planned on watching more of your videos to figure out how to use it.
Have you already got other Google ad accounts? Google puts limits on that sort of thing, particularly if you've had previous ad accounts suspended.

I have set up a google ads account with an email and profile not associated with the account I'm commenting with. However, when I try to create a google ads account with this email account, it keeps redirecting me back to ads home and will not allow me to set up the account, any idea as to why that is happening?

What are ad extensions and should I use them?
They have recently been renamed ad assets and they are additional bits of information you can attach to your ad. I would definitely recommend using them. I have lots of video on this channel showing you how to set up various ad extensions.
I feel both good and bad about saying this. The screenplay and the editing was good but the topic became redundant by the end of the movie. As starters might be drawn by this.

Hi Ben. just wondering if you or anyone else here might know, what I have to do regarding the verification of websites and companies that google is now enforcing. I set up as an organisation and I think I made a mistake and should have chosen individual, because it is requesting a company registration number and VAT number for ID. I dont have either of those being a sole trader. I'm now getting alerts from google saying my ads will stop if I don't verify by march. it's not possible to change your user profile after setup, and google support is pretty much non existent. so if I were to setup another account how can I make sure the same mistake isn't made again? as I can't see anywhere that it asks this question. would I need to avoid using the previous business profile and have to set everything up from scratch? its taken me a long time to get my ads running well and I really dont want to have to start again if there is a way around it but as I say I've tried contacting support and I'm just not getting any answers, there must be thousands of people now in the uk in the same boat, so any help would be greatly appreciated by me and others sure.

If you are going to be working with multiple clients I would set up a Manager account and then get access to your client's ad account through that.

Please I need your help guys. My adMob account wasn't approved. Some days ago I created an adsense account for my business website and the next day I created an adMob account for my business app using a different email address. Note that the website and the app are of the same registered business so both the adsense and the adMob account was registered with the exact same details but with different email addresses. Two days ago I received a mail and notification from adMob saying that my account wasn't approved due to some policies I did not follow, though they didn't specify the particular policy in question. During my research in trying to fix this issue, I found out that if I already have an adsense account, I was supposed to create my adMob account with the same email address in my existing adsense account. I honestly don't know if that is the actual reason why my adMob account wasn't approved but I want to fix this issue.
Please what should I do? Should I close my adsense account and re-submit the adMob account for re-verification or should I ignore the unapproved adMob account and create a new adMob account with my adsense account email address?

Hi there. It skipped the ADD PAGE bit for me. I only just created a google analytics and put the tag in my Etsy shop - would this be the reason? How many keywords are enough for an advertising campaign?
I'd recommend checking out my video on campaign structure, as it depends on a number of factors.
I can't figure out if advertising campaigns are working to the maximum? I look at competitors, and their results look much better.

Hi Ben quick question to run ads on google ads manager does it need to be connected with google merchants centre account. Second do I need to connect pixel with my shopify store like facebook business ads manager account or no need of that in google ads manager account. Please reply would be appreciated.
You don't have to but depending on what campaign type you are using, I would recommend it.
You don't use the Facebook Pixel, but do need to get conversion tracking set up in a similar way.

You do not advertise on Google ads if you dont have a website. Create a website, its very easy with AI now.
