They said something about not having to be a leader if not at all but you'll influence different directions for that faction. Wouldn't mind or wouldn't be mad if you can be a leader though

i hope theirs a mod one day or patch that actually brings active warfare to the game, similar to how certain mods increased faction warfare in the X Series games were the factions would actively control pockets of space and try to take enemy pockets, and certain system would just be straight up constant warzones
I agree, but I don’t like how sometimes you’ll jump and there will be a battle. It makes it feel more like a guerrilla war instead of two major factions fighting

Just got the game and finished the freestar rangers quest line. My first faction and I really enjoyed it, I will not say what the reward for completing the quest line was but I highly recommend going this route for anyone who has just gotten into the game

My plan is to join the Crimson Fleet and have a Wanted Gangster start with parents. I think it'd be kinda funny to be this big bad wanted Space Pirate Queen, who funnels some of her smuggling money to her parents to make sure they're living well.
my plan is to join the UC so i can cosplay being in the space Navy. Ive always wanted to see a movie based on the empire in star wars like following a stormtrooper or star destroyer captain.
This very well could be the best game ever created, but keep in mind that promises can be broken and it could be missing the charm that oblivion had, or the charm that new Vegas had, but it’s definitely gonna be a fun game either way. I can’t wait
After playing Baldur's Gate 3, I'm now kind of hoping Starfield is a bit more beginner-friendly in introducing its systems & all the things you can do 😅 I already feel so damn lost in BG3, from what to do, to the controls & how to manage everything, to keeping tabs on the millions of things it throws at you. I'm sure it'll end up being fun once I start treating it like a full time job, but when I can only commit to a couple hours at a time & have no D&D experience, it's overwhelming lol

Cyberpunk isnt the only game that had counterpoints, but its also more of a counterpoint to previous bethesda game such as skyrim The UC and the Freestar Collective is basically another version of Empire vs Stormcloaks with the Expanse and Firefly inspiration sprinkle in it

imo they shouldve just made the freestar cyberpunkish instead of wild west ish lol , and obv united should be more uniformed/militaryish and then made a seperate minor wild west ish faction. reverse of what they did wouldve been 100% better

Oblivion main story line was great, way better than skyrim's main storyline
Disciples and Strikers are 2 gangs you can join on neon. Disciples was also a raider gang in a fallout 4 dlc.
