I wonder if yours bird keeper (flying type) medal is platinum because that’s +4 catch flying type assist , not to mentioned , your Pokémon buddy , great buddy (2 hearts) also has catch assist.
Were you waiting for the circle to drop for a great or excellent throw? In that case you could just hold the ball and stop holding and the circle will be stuck in that position and you can wait for it to attack and go for it. I don’t know if you were doing something else correct me if I’m wrong?

Shit I always have around 1600 to 1800 poke balls in the bag at any given time. I remember the time I accidentally discarded like 1700. I was going to fast and being sloppy. It literally only took me 2 maybe 3 days to replenish.
