Encountered 2 Articuno and 1 Zapdos. Failed to catch. I can't do this anymore. Took me a month and 200 encounters just to get the first Articuno. This is insane. Not only are they insanely hard to get, but it's near impossible to catch them.
Tip: Aim for excellent throw. The base catch rate is about 3% with an ultra ball. A golden berry adds on around 2% (i think). As well, better throws=better catch rate. Even Pokemon Go says a curveball increases the chance of catching it. Galarian birds have a 90% chance of running away after the first throw. I know this information but I cannot actually use it bc I didnt encounter one yet :(. I did get a shiny event absol from the incense tho :D
And my dad found articuno and moltres on the 3rd day at the same time, me who knows how to specially utilize my chance to catch them, him who just throws the ball with a 80% chance of missing :|

If you have the first master ball from last event and the second master ball from this event that ends in December 1st 2023 then you'll have two of the 3 instantly

On my first daily incense got a gallerian Zapdos and it was on my 2nd account and failed to catch it
