Cheers James. I get to paint all the new releases from Victrix, before they are given to the public. I also get any flags transfers I want. Can't Wait for the Romano-British. Oh man they look next level 😉🙂👍
..another great video Jon , ..notice how near to yellow your leather base coat is , I've been using Vallejo desert yellow as my leather base and then various Citadel washes ,..agrax and sepia mixed , this gives me a more worn look than when I used Citadel leather to start with , ..however I think you'll agree with me the quality of the Victrix mouldings goes a long way in helping us get a great end result to our miniatures ...
Very well done, as always! Your work is a perfect example that is quite a challenge to follow. I have some doubts about the bright blue tunic of the archer, though. As a colour for medieval cloth, it would have to be dark blue, at least.
Thank you 😊. I was trying to follow the blue on the tunic from the victrix archer packaging. It's a bit lighter and more worn looking than the blue I've used. That's something that I need to practice on, making clothes look more worn. 🙂👍
⭐️ lovely work as always - if those faces are only “ok” then I’m terrified to think what “absolutely brilliant” would look like ! ⭐️ 👍
Thanks very much. You can tell when a face is going to be good when the eyes go in first time 😆 🤣 🙂👍
Hi Jon those archers are superb, really well done
Thanks mate 🙂👍
Beautiful figures, great painting!
Cheers Phil 🙂 👍
Hope no one thinks I’m slighting the figure, it’s excellent, but I like a well done base, and this one is perfect for my taste.
Every time you post a video I seem to be purchasing more from Victrix. I hope you get some kick-backs! Great work as always!

True mate. The mouldings provide an excellent amount of detail to allow the wash to do it's job.🙂👍
