I've been waiting for this kind of video. Well done Lil! After getting my score up while in HMA, my hood over in Birka has stopped attacking me so that's much better. Now I'm not always pressured into collecting on time. For HMA defending I have 4 Trebuchet's, the artillery units for HMA, and they can attack from all the way in your back row. So if you get the first turn, you can wipe the floor with that attacker's units pretty easily. For the rest of my Setup, i have 2 Champions, HMA champs, and because I'm short on boosts I managed to get a Color Guard and Military Drummer.
That is a fantastic set up!!! Omg I forgot to mention getting your hood ranking and points up as a tactic, I even had it on my notes!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️ oh Lil!! I will just have to mention it in the How to Plunder video lol 😂

really informative video! i learned alot! on the other side i dont really like the archeology event so far. seems harder to get the daily specials or atleast i've been very unlucky and all the extra quests is very time consuming. hope u will change my mind though ;)
Yay, I'm so so glad!! Lol I don't necessarily go after the daily specials for this event, I like finding the relics and the slabs. The extra quests are easiest done if you activate all at once and try to group them onto the same quests at the same time. My commentary while pretending to be an archeologist may be riveting 😂
sometimes,i don't mind getting plundered but sometimes really want phone no. of the plunderer to have warm talk...but i've built defense great buildings now.

In the top RH corner of your screen (next to the Diamonds +) you have another symbol which you clicked to change worlds. I don't have this on my screen. Do you know how I can get that symbol so I can change worlds easily? BTW, I enjoy your videos and am learning a lot!
You are so sweet! I am so glad that you are learning from them! Are you playing on mobile or on PC? If it is on mobile, you need to go to your settings tab and then you can see your worlds listed there and you can switch between them then. I am on PC in this video.

I think in general, buildings which boost the defending army are a waste of space. Up until today i did not even know how to put units in the defending army (mobile player)- jet i still have not been attacked in weeks. I am certain, the most important part is to have more points than the average player. Nobody dares to attack you, if you are in the top 10-20% of your neighborhood. Also note, that the neighborhood depends on your age; Higher ages=more points required to be safe
That depends absolutely on who is your neighbor... I always attack and plunder all of my neighbors...!!! The best solution is to collect your resources on time

It's all about finding active and help friends and/or joining a very supportive and active guild. Each will help you get blueprints and/or goods for GBs. 🤩
I played this game back in 2018 played all the way past the Iron age and stopped playing for a few months. Went back on and my city disappeared. I couldn't get it back wasted a year 😪
That's crazy 😧 I don't understand why they would make you spend anything to get it back. I still have people in game whose accounts are there after 2 years of them being inactive. 🥺
I'm being attacked with 7 rouges and 1 heavy infantry and in auto battle my military targets the rouges turning them into heavy infantry what should I do.
Is this when you are actively attacking and if so I would go into manual battle mode so that you can control better who your army targets... A mix of heavy and ranged and rogues will be most helpful. If this is the your defending army when someone attacks your city, unfortunately there is nothing you can do to manipulate actively controlling the army. However, make sure your defending army has a mixture of units and no rogues on it. I prefer 4 heavies, 1 artillery, 1 ranged, and 1 fast unit.
I wonder how far you can get in the game without it being unlocked. My fourth city doesn't have it unlocked and I want to try that out there. It sucks though, because by not unlocking "military tactics", I can't unlock donations for great buildings 😭 which means no blueprints from anyone else ever.
@@Deathstroke3K 🙈🙈🙈 I don't think very long because great buildings, guild expedition, and guilds are a huge part of the game. The most fun in my opinion. 😍 Just collect on time and you will be safe.
Right now I am going with 1 Champion, 1 Cannon, and and the rest Grenadiers (Heavy Unit). I like the Grenadier bc he can attack without getting damage. Using the cannon to convert at least 2 rogues. Most people use the technique to skip or retreat units to the back, and when defensive units come into range of rogues they use rogues to get that high first stike attack.

@@dennisbush9612 You're welcome! And unless your two cities are on the same server or world, you can't exchange goods with yourself. Oh and the Royal bathhouse you can get from ancient egypt, the newest cultural settlement, it's challenging but after your first playthrough you get that building, when it's motivated it can produce a random unit for you at level 1, at level 6 it's 10 units.

Do a lot of GBG advancements each day, finish GE level 4 each week, build a secondary city where you focus on building wishing wells, fountains of youth, and crow's nests. 💎💎💎
Oh boy! That would mostly be due to my St. Marks and Chateau and reoccurring quests. Also, I complete GE level 4 every week for the diamonds and do lots of GBG battles so also my Traz and Attack GBs are high!
So, I understood that in the end is impossible to defend your city to get plundered! If somebody is more advanced can plunder you! Shit! There is someone that plunders me every day, even when I made all necessary not to. Is very annoying!
In that case, definitely be prompt in collecting your city the minute your collections begin popping. Worst case scenario is set a 24 hour city defense shield in your Tavern (tavern boost) and let your city sit so that you can collect everything at once and ensure that it is time that you can consistently collect at each day.

From the Iron age your city look VERY IMPRESIVE, how did you get all those items so Earlier, like the ARC ?
