BNSF's Needles Subdivision - The Supercut (Part 1: Barstow to Daggett)

As you could probably guess, my next big project is centered on the BNSF Needles Subdivision, which runs through the Mojave Desert from Barstow California to the Colorado River at Needles! This is a spiritual successor to my old Mojave Magic video (which I had pitched to Green Frog back in 2014 and which they rightfully rejected me over not having a wind sock on my camera) including all of the footage shot between 2014 and 2023 along the Needles subdivision! This video focuses on Barstow Yard to Daggett, featuring significant amounts of footage filmed above Barstow Yard (as both High Above Barstow Yards 1 and 2 are included in this compilation), drone footage of the yard and new intermodal facility, as well as plenty of (at the time) brand new ES44 and ET44c4 units! Action progresses eastward to the timetable station of Nebo, where over an hour of high-speed action awaits at the s-curves where the UP Los Angeles Subdivision joins up with the Needles subdivision for its trip to West Riverside. BNSF and UP trains make quick work through the junction before we head to Daggett itself, and a massive show of power on the BNSF line as they pass by waiting UP trains! Over 6 hours of constant action awaits you in this first edition of the BNSF Needles Supercut series!
