It would be interesting to see how this changes with the new physics update - I’ve found that lap time can be found by focusing on braking, especially trail braking into a corner. Also curbs just feel weird now but that’s probably just because I’m used to the old handling style. One more thing to note is that because of these new changes lap times will generally be slower compared to before due to the more natural physics.
Can you help me? I am doing everything you say but I cannot get below 2:00, and that’s pure white knuckles, barely in control. Same car. I run with TCS on 2 because I can’t co trip the throttle without losing massive amounts of acceleration. Still, TCS on 2 doesn’t lose 6 seconds right? Coming out of a turn in 3rd seems madness. I am losing time there. Why does that work for you but I have to be in 2nd? This is so frustrating. I have put in the time but must be doing something wrong because 2:03 is my consistent time. That’s 9 seconds behind everyone else.
@@hotmetalslugsDid you also use the setup? You have to apply that before every race or quali session. To use 3rd out of a corner you need to be carrying the speed, otherwise use 2nd. Some of it will be down to throttle control, the more the TCS is kicking in then more it will bog down the car. The differences in lap times are down to very small margins, coming out of turn a tiny bit slower could lose you half a second or more on a long straight. That kind of thing adds up over lap. It's usually better to brake a little earlier into a corner to give you a better line out of it.
@@Jimster71 D. Bottomed out and can’t get off the bottom. Every game I place 6,7,or 8 and end 10-15. No spin outs, no punts. Just can’t win a race if I can’t get sub 2:00. Very frustrating. If I could get into E lobbies, if that’s where I belong, fine. At least I’d have fair matches. Nothing I can do I guess. Too old.
E lobbies are just for the first few races. After that you can't go lower than D. Work through some of the license tests and use the reference ghost. They help teach a lot of racing techniques that can be applied. It's also worth doing the circuit experience tests to learn some of the circuits. Age doesn't need to be a factor.
Quick question, I’m using the same car but the hp and pp is different. I changed all the settings to what you showed but I’m still at 708.11 pp and 536hp. The only thing that looks different is my ecu says full control computer and yours says fully customizable. Not sure if that’s the same or not
Thanks for the guide. I do dislike having to do setups for Daily B! Should be BB only imo
@@Krymefighter I think that opinion is shared by many. Fortunately they don't do it too often.

Yea this week was a rough week
Sector 1 on this track is one of the toughest to get right in my experience.

@@Jimster71 Thanks. Yeah I’ve tuned it. I just suck. Skill reserves emptied. 🤷♂️
Just keep at it. It takes practice. I used to think I'd never get out of C lobbies.

I use the mercedes no wheel spin and the brake bias is able to pivot the car around the turns
I've never really been a big fan of the Merc, but it is pretty popular this week.
Ok I followed your guide and I was able to gain 2 sec's...TYVM. O7
Nice job 👍
What brake balance are you using bud?
@@jasonpeake8992 It was +3
@Jimster71 cheers for the ghost too mate, I've always wondered what upload ghost and how it done works. Appreciate it.
No worries. Hope you find it useful 👍
