Great job talking about the rules; it encourages other people to follow them. It may seem like a headache, but be glad you don't live in an authoritarian state with a million restrictions (looking at you Colorado).
Usually we tie on to the bank and put a light weight on that end to get the line down and put a really heavy weight on the other end. We usually don't run a middle weight unless it's a really long set.
Good video Bill. Still waiting to see how you put out your lines. Couple questions. Do you have to tie them off to the bank or can you use a float on one end and have it in the middle of the channel? And I don't know about other people, but I wouldn't mind watching you bring everything in and showing the ones you release as well.
Thank you Shawn. I am going to do a video on how to place your lines, as soon as I can find a way to do better audio while on the river. Go pros don't have the best audio and I'm still using the old hd hero 2. I always tie off to the bank these days ( i once had a submerged line that was lost due to a tree floating down river in high water) Yes you can use a float for a marker and use heavy weights to keep the line in the middle of the river. The marker would make it easy to locate and run the line, without a marker you will have to drag for it to bring it up and run it (kinda bothersome) Just remember to mark it where it's easily identified by you and not everyone on the river. A word on totally submerged lines, if you are after really big cats you need to use really big weights to prevent the fish from moving and fowling your gear. Usually I tie to a tree and use a very heavy tail weight, that way if the line is cut or broke off from the tree I can drag for it and get it back.

Awesome video, where is a boat ramp on the floodways ? I'm from the Kennett area
There are 2 at hornersville.
I may have missed you saying it but what size hook are you using?
Do you tie your lines on the bank and drop a weight in the middle? Or do you tie each end to a branch with the line parallel to the bank?

for bait try using chicken gizzards soaked in vanilla extract

Hello, How far from the bottom are your hooks? Are they just hanging vertically?
Flat on the bottom, the live bait struggles to stay upright which helps call in the flathead.
What are they smoking??.
Was that close to Mr.ts
yes sir
