@@DollarRC thanks, I tried it on an open balsa wing, (not much balsa to stick to ) and had trouble getting it to stick. I guess I need to hold it on there a bit longer.
@@sut2910 Yes, turn the dial up slightly on your heat gun. You may have to test on scrap to get it tuned in. I mention in previous video, I have yet to burn or melt doculam, so don't be afraid to heat it good. If still having issues with adhesion, coat the airframe in modgepodge and sand just enough to take off the fuzz. The heat will reactivate the adhesive and give you a better stick. I hope this helps.

What temp setting did you use on your iron for the doculam?
I'm not sure what the temp is. On my iron it was set at 3 for 'tack', i set it to 4.5 for seal, and 5 for shrink.

What paint do you use is it a cellulose or an acrylic?
