I saw the poodle rug at the beginning and thought, "That's my favourite! It's amazing!" And then you told us Alfred made it as his first ever rug and I was in awe of his rug tufting skill.

I cant remember what theyre called but as a kid they had this small sheets you weaved a plastic needle thru to make tiny lil rugs. I remember it being super relaxing!

There something similar I did when I was younger but it was basically tufting piece and piece. Hook stitching? I think. Use a little hook and match the colored yarn to the colored puncture on this mat thing and pull it through and it creates what looks like a small rug. It was a bunch of fun, definitely time consuming but worth it
