We need a larger scale rug next. I’m in love w the process
He should do the famous uo/antro tiger tuff rug
Yes bigbig please!!
Definitely!
I would love to see you make an intricate patterned rug or even a wall hanging.
or pillows.
Definitely!!!
Wall decor, yessss!!!!
I’d love to see a larger scale project - maybe even a DIY version of a very expensive/high end rug
yes! great idea :)
Seriously… How fun is this! I’m half tempted to give it a whirl. But great job.
I Love WATCHING you
Too!!!❤
I would love to see you give it a go 💕
Do it!
You definitely need a Designed to the Nines rug in your craft room!!😁
Dove si compra la pistola x tappeti? Scrivo dall'Italia. Voglio imparare a fare tappeti. Dove posso trovare dei tuoi video? Oggi è il primo video che vedo tuo e già ti adoro anche se parli troppo veloce e i sottotitoli anche sono veloci
I fell out when you screamed doing the first line 😂 both of them look amazing and it was your first try 👏🏿
Your work is amazing too
Literally did the same when he yelled "It looks like a frickin' rug!" 😆 Really glad you did that tufting video, btw. I like that you do more complicated designs.
The King has spoken!
The rug king is heeereeee
I hollered 😆.
To think my dad was doing this type of rugs BY HAND one strand at a time in the early 80's.
I did too! Rug hooking with a closable hook thingy.
I did too...it was called latch hook rugs or just plain hooked rugs.
I made a bunch of them by hand, back in the day. Still have my tools. It was so relaxing and mostly used a burlap material for the backing.
😮 I bet those handmade rugs looked amazing!
I remember my mom doing it in the 70's with a punch thru one at a time. When she was out I would sneak and do some, can't remember if the rug ever got finished it was like 4ft by 3ft.
DREW, YOUR SIMPLY THE BEST! I WANT TO SEE YOU DO A FOX RUG. THE SIZE THAT WILL FIT AT YOUR BEDSIDE! OR YOUR LONE FOX LOGO! NOW LET'S GO!
I love the way you talk about your sponsors. It never sounds like you’re just reading off something it sounds like you really actually love the product
God bless everyone through the tuff times💝
Tuft-imes
😄
@@biancabrooks280 Yes, these are tuft times😂
YES! My wishes: More rug tufting videos. Yes, buy shears or shaving tool. List all supplies in comments. Get twill tape! This would be awesome. Thank you for the video. I loved it.

LOVE this! I was just saying yesterday how I need a new hobby, and this looks SO fun! I would love to see a larger area rug with this technique to see what materials are needed, the type of frame used, etc. It would be so cool to be able to make my own rugs for my space. Thank you for sharing!!!
You did a great job. I did it 50 years ago. So I have forgotten. I can tell you that I didn’t know they made the stuff for the back. For your first time you created some great results. I am going to enjoy watch you grow. The only failure is in not trying, some one famous said that but I don’t remember. I made this bunny other day. It didn’t turnout how I would have liked I bought stuff to remake them for my kids
Now you just need to make the matching bacon and the toast! You got me feeling like this is missing in my life! a breakfast rug set!
Maybe even a bottle of Orange Juice!
Great idea! Bacon yes 👍🏼
😂🤣😂
Yeas the breakfast collection, stack of pancakes and syrup!
Yes!! A full set of breakfast rugs!!
When I saw the clouds, right after Drew did the white parts, I thought it would look really epic as a wall art. Except that you would need to do it the other way around- "poke" it from the back of a frame and I guess living it on a frame afterwards. I really love the look of just the fluffy clouds on a simple canvas material, without filling the sky (space between the clouds). It would totally hit the vibes of neutral colors and texture elements.
Yes I thought the same to leave just the clouds and hang it as a pice of art
I am so excited to watch this video. I’m inspired and excited by all the rug art that is blowing up on tiktok and of course like any crafter I’m super keen to try. This was ✨charming✨ and realistic in that comforting “we’re all human” way you have of presenting techniques where I feel like we’re learning something new together. Thank you Drew 🥰 I’m now even MORE inspired to try
OMG!!!! drew....you never disappoint am telling you...i love how you take the risk in purchasing the turf gun...i love the two designs you did...one LOVE.
I was just on Etsy looking at tufted rugs when I thought to myself I could diy them instead! and now you post this 0.o❤️
You should definitely do another rug tutorial sometime! This was so cool! I want to make a rug now 😂
I am CONSTANTLY impressed by you. You have inspired my new life motto, “with the right tools, I can do anything!”
If anyone can do ANYTHING it’s you, Drew!!!! I LOVE this!!! So satisfying to watch from the other side in fast motion!! Great idea to show that!!
I’m pretty sure if I got my paws on one of these, everyone and their momma would be getting the same thing for Christmas.. and YOU get a throw pillow! And YOU get a throw pillow!
🤣
😂😂😂
Yes and every single Christmas 🤣🤣
Well done, Drew. I wondered if one could use these rugs to cover the seat of a chair or a stool for example.
Or as a pillow case!
I made a 5'x7' latch hook rug a few years ago. It took me over a year to finish the darn thing & it's not like I would let it sit for months .. or even weeks without working on it. It became my TV companion so at least 2 hours a night. Now I'm watching you make gorgeous rugs in just a few hours? Ones that look every bit as nice as my latch hook rug? After watching you I realize I need tufting gun! Need need need. I have visions of gorgeous rugs swimming in my head! Thank you so much for this video!
Drew, this is incredible! As usual, well done on completing the project so professionally. Yours is my most favourite diy/decor channel. Everything you make is actually something I would want in my home.
Missed a beautiful opportunity to say "tuftorial"
Officially my new favourite word 😂
You should’ve put rug gripper padding on the back, instead of canvas. Then it would’ve been good to go on the floor with no slipping. Nice job by the way.
Great suggestion..THANK YOU🥰
Brilliant video Drew. Please go further with this and make a rug suitable for your space. I've been thinking about this for the last few days and after watching some YT shorts.
In just this video, I've learnt so much. Thanks for de-mystifying this craft.
Many thanks
Shel from Ireland
These look amazing! I would LOVE to see an area rug. I've never thought of creating a rug myself but you've made it seem completely doable and not intimidating at all. Absolutely love that you're taking on things you've never done before. Keep it coming!
So glad you enjoyed the video!! More similar videos to come :)
Yes !!! Do more tufting! These are amazing. I’d love to see a bigger, more intricate one. 😻
Dear, the person reading this I may not know you, but I wish you the best in life
the same to you , thank you.
💖✌🏻
awwww. thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
@@legrandeileen4863 you're welcome sweetie 😚💛
@@crimsonfrye7806 you're welcome sweetie 😚💛
I can feel your excitement 🤩🤩 thank u so much. This is really therapeutic to me.
OMG! You are a GENIUS! Removing the canvas from the frame is Genius...I made one and it took me 3 days to get it right. I wish I had this brilliant idea to buy a canvas and take the cloth off! Wow!! Thank you also it’s cheaper than making one. The entire video is Great so informative. Again...thank you!😘🙂
I actually have a vintage rug tufting gun, thinking now I might give it a try. Very pretty rugs you made.
I'm so into punch needling but THIS is next level. Now I really want a rug gun!! Would love to see more videos like that, loooove it 😻
I’ve never come across you or your channel before - this was my first video. Just wanted to say I found you inspiring and you seem like such a real and kind human. Thank you for sharing, I’m ready to rug tuft 💗
Yes! Of course we want more videos of this!😍😍😍
I sure would love to see you diy a larger scale rug. Maybe some abstract shapes and colors you like the most!! Great job on your first rugs!! Way cute :)
Love the rugs but also loved the small moments showing you living in your space! Such chill calm vibes 👌🏼
When you said " I don't know if you guys want to see me making an actual rug, like something larger?" I shouted "YES!" so loud at the screen I woke my cat Lol! I'm so impressed with your courage to try this, well done indeed Drew. Those rugs are not my style but they are lovely, would be so perfect when you do a childs room makeover next. :-)
I've have been looking at rug tufting for months, closer to a year, and your video gave me the confidence to pull the trigger. Just bought everything I needed and I'm going to make my frame! *fingers crossed*
This is super cool!!!! Thank you for showing us this. Never heard of it before. 🥰
People from 300 years ago would hate us for being able to make a rug in an hour, when they needed years of experience and weeks of work for 1 rug. This was sooooo beyond enjoyable to watch!!!!!!
You should watch a making of a Persian rug. There are some videos on YT. Have a look.
Yes!!!!! I would LOOOOOOOVE to see another rug tufting video! Thank you for sharing!
I HAVE to do this. Lone Fox, thank you. I am so happy as I watch this and am excited for you and your rug!
Eggcellent job, Drew. I'm on Cloud 9. :)
This was so cool! So satisfying to watch the rug coming to life!
Good jobb!!! Such cute rugs😍😍🔥🔥
I'm so glad you mentioned the yarn cause I've watched a few other rug videos & no one mentions what kind of yarn was used or how much is needed.
Omg! I so want a rug tufting gun now!!! Great job Drew, they're so cute!
Yes big rug!!! Maybe with the Lone Fox logo, that'd be so cute!
This is insanely awesome! They look amazing! The options are literally endless. Can't wait to see more!!!
Yes please. Bigger project! I’m going to have to try this!!!! Thank you!
THANK YOU FOR THIS YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I NEEDED THIS
This is one of your best! My blank walls need something like this.
I friggin LOVE THIS!!! Talk about immediate gratification! So fast and so fun!!!!
You are such a brave soul, love to watch you make something on a larger scale for yourself!💜
I can’t believe you made rugs. This is amazing
**does one line**
OMG IT LOOKS LIKE A RUG, IT LOOKS LIKE A FREAKING RUG
FUN! Thanks for sharing your rug making with us.
Ummm...YESSSSS! I truly appreciated that front facing camera angle, so satisfying!
When you suggested getting a canvas at the craft store I immediately thought, “Just get an old canvas at the thrift store!” Especially since you’re taking off the canvas and just using the frame. 😊
great idea!!! i will be doing this!
Oh man! This is so cool. I've always wondered how artisans do hand made, designer rugs. This is crazy good! I wonder if the front side lengths would have been a little more even if you hadn't stopped and started in bursts?
you simplified the process so much for me. thanks for showing us your trial and error🙏🏾you’re awesome
This is awesome.I have bathroom rug issues.Never just the right sizes.I thought I was going to do this with the technique you showed previously. Thanks a lot Drew.
They came out wonderful! Boy.. I wouldn’t have the patience that you had when doing those rugs, but hey.. perhaps u should release your line of rugs :)
I loved this video so much! The process was very cool to watch. Especially seeing both sides of the rug as you made it. I would love to see more rug making videos!!!
Drew please do more!! I’m so excited and want to try now!!!
Please make more! So satisfying! I could watch this for hours!
Sorry Girls have also made a cool tiger rug using a hand tool, in case you want to check it out. I had no idea that there was a faster tool for doing this, which makes it a lot less daunting. Thanks Drew, 💜
Why not do a tufted tapestry for the wall in your living room or bedroom with a design that would be accent/statement piece.
I absolutely loved this. As a first attempt, amazing! Yes please, more of these tufting videos and larger projects please!
You really have been schooled in textile and you are a fine enthusiastic teacher. Thank you for making this seem like I could use my simpler little tool for miniature tufting.
Would love to see full rug for bedroom or living room especially breaking down the cost for doing so. Great video!!
*me: instantly thinking about gifting every one I know a rug for any reason 😂
OMG I've been literally working on an egg rug for myself since October! Except I don't have a tufting gun so I'm doing it BY HAND.
Love it, it's so cute!
Yes .. would love to see another rug video .. loved the process!
“Oh my GOD it looks like a freaking RUG on the other side!” 😭
Me asking my husband for a tufting gun for Christmas: “Um...hey babe....”

Thank you for doing this first impressions on rug tufting! I've been wanting to do this, but had no idea what my realistic expectations should be first starting out. It looks so easy, and your rugs turned out super cute!
Glad it was helpful Amanda!
