This is awesome! Makes it really clear on how and where to find the taxis. Coming to Vegas soon and this makes it so much more easy to plan. Thanks for the info! 😊
That's a crazy credit card fee. It's 10-15%. I used to always take a shuttle but sometimes they made 5 or 6 stops before dropping me off. Thanks for the cc fee heads-up.
It's a metered rate, depending on traffic it could be $35-$70. Better to take Uber also you can take the CX Express $2 ua-cam.com/video/wIXUzK1WA5Y/v-deo.html or take the 109 bus to the Deuce $6 ua-cam.com/video/ALN4NCPgJGc/v-deo.html
@@vegasnolaman If you're going to take route 109, take the northbound bus directly downtown. Taking the southbound 109 then the Deuce will take much longer, especially on weekends when traffic is backed up on the strip.
Since the Taxi's are a fixed rate based on zones, I never take Uber from the airport & here's why: Uber may be cheaper than a Taxi however there is no guarantee. Price surges are so common @vegas airport. The walk to Uber is maybe 7 minutes or so, plus the P/u area can be like a zoo, crowded with wait times 10-20 minutes. Vacation time is precious and already you lost maybe 25-30 min + the hassle of walking to & waiting for your ride & possibly paying more if there's a surge. Instead walk out the airport door directly into a Taxi. IF there is a Taxi line it goes fast! Zone prices are posted on outside wall as soon as you exit airport (ie..bellagio, paris are zone 2 .. $25.) Taxi back seats have CC machine & they'll print receipt or you can pay cash. Taxi drivers know how to navigate dropoff's & they know shortcuts better than an app. Hope my post has been helpful :)
Taxi is too much $$$. I usually get on a shuttle bus, its cheaper by 75% and roomy with lots time to see the Las Vegas strip while going to your hotel. This guy doing the narrating has the best voice!!
Good video. Thanks for the information. Surprised to still see people wearing face diapers. Though it is nice of the Democrats to advertise themselves.

How much is a taxi to the Luxor? Will it be the same on a return trip? Thanks.
The flat rate is $21 not including a $3 credit card fee and the gratuity. The return rate to the airport is the same.
Thanks for the information! Are there taxis with toddler seats as well?
No, taxis in Las Vegas are not required to have toddler seats but you can bring your own.
@ Thanks for the quick reply! One more question, do these taxis run 24 hours?
Do you tip on top of the flat rate ?
Yes I definitely do! The flat rate doesn't include the gratuity.

Is the deuce wheelchair accessible? Coming from Australia in 3wks.

Great video. I wonder how the flat rate compares to Uber or Lyft?
I see no flat rate to downtown so what is the bus options to downtown & where do I catch the bus?
Take the CX Express ua-cam.com/video/wIXUzK1WA5Y/v-deo.html
It will likely be less. You can check the ride-share apps and compare rates when you land.
Does the flat rate work in reverse? Meaning if I get a ride from the hotel to the airport is it a flat rate? thanks
Yes, everything works in reverse including the fact that the cabs are lined up and ready to go!
What about to Fremont hotels price ? Thankyou

Taxi Buddies!
ahh, no wonder they ask if you need to stop at liquor store, etc
Exactamundo 👍
Obviously they only do that because they want to keep the customer happy.
They are so considerate that way. 😃
