CUTE TOWN in NOVA SCOTIA (Tatamagouche) + Cozy CABIN in the WOODS 🏡 | End of Our Nova Scotia Trip! Transcript:
Come on in. We are going to give you a tour of this cabin in the woods. Good morning good morning world hello greetings from Tatamagouche. We have come to Tatamagouche. Apparently the name means meeting of the waters. So here we are. We're going to be spending the day here. So a 15-minute drive from our rural little cabin. I have been loving the cabin we're staying in; we're right in the woods. Yet the town is just a short drive; it's the best of both worlds. We get the the rural experience where we're staying and then we also have the services of a cute little town nearby. And there's quite a bit to do in town. There's a creamery to visit; there's a brew house to visit; there's also what was the other thing - there's a winery you want to visit. Indeed, Jost winery. There's a train that you can stay overnight in and also potentially have a meal. And also where we're staying we're close to an old gristmill a provincial park there's a maple farm a maple sugar farm where you can buy maple products. It's amazing there's just so much to do in and around this area. We're just gonna try and see and do as much as we can today. Also enjoy our cabin experience too. So it's best of both worlds
Well that's the end of our road trip here in Nova Scotia, Canada. That concludes two weeks road tripping across nova scotia. We hope you guys enjoyed it. We really had a fun time getting to know this province. I think this might be the most livable province in all of Canada. There's affordability. I mean obviously outside of Halifax it is affordable. There's nature. You're never far from either the beach or a lake or rivers. I mean you could just come here and if you're into nature this is the province to be. It's been a lot of fun for us we hope you guys will enjoy the videos and of course we're gonna keep filming our adventures around Canada. We've got a few little trips brewing so we'll let you know soon enough where we're heading. Thanks so much for watching and we'll see you in an episode real soon.

I live about 40 minutes from here. Antigonish.
I have lived in tatamagouche all my life and would just like to say welcome and you showcased everything beautifully thank you for that
well im off to sit on the toilet yet again then off back to bed im tired God bless you both, all the best dave.
Miss Nova Scotia. Lived there 22 years of my life. I especially miss the ocean, majestic scenery, Cows ice cream and donair. Samuel and Aubrey must definitely eat a donair.
Thank you very much! If you watch our first video in the series we ate the biggest donair in the province. Hope you can revisit again soon!
Nova Scotia is in our future travel. Love that place. And Newfoundland.
The wine was good, wasn't it?
The beer to.
Nice video! Thanks guys.
Julia de Brampton
Thank you very much Julia! That is really exciting to hear! NFL will be our last province to visit. The wine was so good in Nova Scotia and we didn't even get to the Annapolis Valley.
I'm originally from NS, but live in Ottawa now. Due to the bubble, I haven't been home in almost a year, and my family can't come visit either. I'm loving these videos to feel like I'm a little closer to home, but they also make me miss it so much more! I love seeing others enjoy my home as much as I do.
THank you very much! I sure hope you can revisit home again soon. It has been a tough year.
I love Canada and have visited 5 times now but have never been further East than Montreal. My dream was always to visit Nova Scotia and PEI but it will never happen now because I am too old and too sick to travel again. I was so thrilled to find your videos as it makes me feel like I am right there with you. It has been so wonderful to see your visits to the Maritime provinces. Thank you for sharing. I am now a huge fan of your channel. 😊
Some of my ancestors came to Nova Scotia in the 1750s. I love it and have lived here all my life. There are many different types of beaches! I appreciate living here even more in these difficult times. It has been an absolute delight watching you enjoy our lovely province. Happy trails to you😊!
Thank you very much Mary! Wow, that is amazing to hear. I have a similar story related to my Mother's ancestors in New Brunswick.
Как хорошо, что во время просмотра видео у меня был завтрак ))
:)
Really enjoyed you tour of my home province, i hope it will show others what I have come to love about touring our province.
Thank you very much Kevin! That really means a lot to us coming from a local. We'd love to come back someday to see more.
Yes! Stones or bricks were used to warm your bed. There were lots of farm houses that only had heat in the kitchen or a potbelly heating appliance in a living room! I remember those days😊. Great video!
Just getting to this one but wow! There's a reason I've been faithfully following you both for a few years now. How delightful and fun are you guys? I'm looking into a trip out to Nova Scotia in the somewhat distant future and this is sincerely making a strong case for a stop at Tatamagouche. Thank you!
Thanks Daniel! Wow! That is great to hear. Highly recommend Tatamagouche.
Fantástico video Amigos, como siempre!!. Ya lo saben pero se los repito...los queremos mucho 😘😘😘. Somos Luisa, Plinio y Plinio Jr. desde Talcahuano 🇨🇱🇨🇱
Muchas gracias Luisa!
Hello, bonjour just To say thanks, merci and take care of you and your relatives!
Thank you very much!
You just made Nova Scotia into our travel bucket list 🤗
We want those maple syrup beans 🤤
Ah, that is so cool to hear! Just love those beans! Especially if it is real maple syrup :)
Great video! I stumbled upon the Train Station Inn & have to stay there some day. Hubby loves trains so this will be a great surprise for him. Interesting town of Tatamagouche is a bonus for a great trip. Thanks.
That is so cool to hear Mary! It is such a neat place.
Sam and Audrey beautiful ending to your Nova Scotia trip for sure I will revisit one day
Thanks Effie! That is awesome to hear. Where would you like to go?
@@samuelandaudrey For sure the places you guys went
What a pitty we all couldn’t see the creamery and the other things. Very nice place Tatamagouche and the cozy cabin were you stayed.
Thanks Santiago! Yeah, we really wished it was open but fortunately had plenty to do the rest of the day.
Cool trip and cool shirt for Audrey. Thank you
Thank you very much Rex!
Muy lindo todo, y uds como siempre muy simpáticos!!!!
Muchas gracias Cristina!
Tata is a great town. I love going there.
That is great to hear! It truly is! We loved it.
We stayed in Boxcar Jimmy on the last night of our home craftbeercation honeymoon in NS this past July. We missed out on the dining car but the town really is adorable!
Oh, wow, that's so cool that you got to stay in the boxcar! That sounds like a really fun honeymoon!! 😊🚂
Hola Audrey y Sam. Hermoso lugares y cuanta tranquilidad para descansar. Saludos desde La Plata - Provincia de Buenos Aires - Argentina
Muchas gracias Ramiro!
Again I can only say that Nova Scotia is in the Top5 of future travel destinations. Thank you so much for your awesome videos. They mean so much to me during these strange times. And when we hopefully survive all of this I will be soo happy to see you back in Argentina (and me too...) I miss Buenos Aires so much that it makes me cry...
Thank you very much Enzio! Ah, we miss BA as well!
Great video!!! Nice Tatamagouche city!!!
Thank you very much Marcela!
My mother in law used to cook on a cast iron stove like that. They bought a farm house in tbe late 70s and it was there when they bought it. She learned how to use it and never went back. At least until they moved.
That is so cool to hear Chris! Those stoves were built to last the test of time.
Amazing place, I loved the railway museum . The comfortable cabin and its wood stove. Another place to know full of histories
Thanks Hugo! It is a fascinating town to visit. Love the forest and beaches nearby.
Comencé a verlos en su canal en español pero este me gusta más por sus viajes y su pronunciación en inglés se entiende perfecto y me ayuda a aprender, Saludos desde Chaco Argentina
Muchas gracias Carolina!
Agradecemos escuchar eso. Mis mejores deseos para estudiar inglés.
- Samuel
Hola Carolina, nosotros también! Nos encanta los dos canales de ellos!
You are such a lovely couple, you must go back and stay on the train, best wishes from the west coast of Ireland,Jenny
Thank you very much Jenny!
Had a great day today, riding my bike, spending time with family and now watching you guys on TV. Great, happy feeling🥰
Aww, thank you for making us a part of your day! 😊😊
Sam.....getting back to the wood stove and the rocks on top of the stove and Audrey's story of putting bricks in the oven.....well....she is correct.....I am in my 70s, grew up south of Barrie Ontario on a farm and our heating system was a huge coal monster in the basement and a wood stove in the kitchen for cooking and heating the main floor....bricks wrapped in towels were added to our beds when it was COLD....the farm houses then were insulated with Sears catologues.....am enjoying your videos....thanks.....Linda Thomas
That is fascinating to hear Linda! I grew up during the Sears catalogue era! Wow, heating the beds is such a practical idea.
Really enjoyed watching this, glad to see you are still having nice adventures! ☺☺☺
Thank you very much!
Beautiful and nice 😻 I hope to visit Nova Scotia some day ..
Thanks Jocelyn! That is great to hear. It is a beautiful province with so much to offer!
Being a Canadian from Toronto (now living in Orange County, CA for many years) I’ve done a road trip 3 years ago from Anchorage to California which was unbelievable but I’ve never been to the Maritimes. On my bucket list. Great videos.
That is really cool to hear. Anchorage to California is a dream trip for us! If we could extend it we'd love to make it all the way to Patagonia in South America. Really hope you can see the Maritimes soon. It is seriously underrated.
Yes we took our time, after the Alaska/Can Highway we took mostly off main highway routes through Banff and Montana etc, always made sure we stopped at Airbnb’s by 4 pm to rest and relax, it took us 20 days and 5000 miles. Too bad there was far too much smoke from all the wild fires then (August 2017).
¡Bellísimo paseo! Y la cabaña soñada! Como siempre disfruté muchísimo con su video, Gracias Samuel y Audrey
Muchas gracias Claudia!
Another lovely video !! I truly loved Nova Scotia, this last area was so cute.
Thanks Rose! One of our favourite days on the whole trip.
Epic travel to Nova Scotia was wonderful!!💛💚💙
Thank you very much Bajlandia!
I cannot believe my two favorite Canadian travel bloggers in Tatamagouche at the same time. That was @daveyandsky at 13:58, Dave filming Skylar flying the kite on the beach. We are heading to the Train Station Inn on the weekend so we watched both of your videos back to back.
Love your travels to Atlantic Canada. A lot of my teachers are from the Maritimes and Newfoundland so it’s really cool what their hometown looks like. I would love to go there someday.
Thanks Jex! That is cool to hear!
Beautiful Cabin
Thank you! We just loved it.
Guys .. that was just Epic ... Canada is such a picturesque place .. and you guys do a great job showcasing it to the world.. Beautiful 🙏❤️❤️🌿🌺

Thanks Bradley! So appreciate you sharing that1
What a great video, what a beautiful place! Greetings from Sveti Stefan, Montenegro :))) Wish i could visit Nova Scotia/Canada sometime in the future :))
We're glad you enjoyed the video! And wow, Sveti Stefan - we didn't make it quite that far, but we did visit nearby Budva a few years back. Montenegro is lovely! -Audrey
@@samuelandaudrey Hey maybe next time? You're more than welcome 😊
I love baked beans as much as the next guy, but more than cheesecake??!! Let's not get crazy!! :)
Hahaha...that is true!
Cute cabin❣️
It sure was! Gotta love a little cozy cabin in the middle of the woods.😊🌲

THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH.. I LOVE CANADA. I DROVE OUR DAUGHTER FOR A 16th BIRTHDAY TRIP CAMPING AROUND CANADA FOR 5 WEEKS. Also through Y'all I can get a really good DESCRIPTION if what alcoholic drinks taste like. I have been a diabetic since my adulthood and at 58. I've only tried one wine & 3 whiskeys just a sip then I spit it out. ( I take 5 shots of insulin Daily & 2 pills not a good idea to consume alcohol) THROUGH you I get to hear only imagine how good some of these are. The Beers & Wines of the world. (FYI I do cook with some alcohol) GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️🤗💕 SAFE TRAVELS THANK YOU from a subscriber from West-Central INDIANA FARMLAND USA🇺🇸💖🚜
Thank you very much JW! So cool! Where did you go for those 5 weeks? We'd love to visit Indiana someday :)
So beautiful Amigos!!, everyday we Love more and more Canadá 😍😍😍. Thanks for sharing...and...es extraño que encuentren bueno un vino dulce 😱😱😱, un buen vino NO PUEDE SER DULCE, (salvo un Late Harvest) 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 tenía que decirlo 😢😢. Somos Plinio, Luisa y Plinio Jr. desde Talcahuano...Chile!!

The train sign on the trail was not in regards to the Train Station Inn but there is a road train that goes through the town and down the trail. The sign was a reminder the train has the right of way.😊
Another amazing video, Canada will be on our plans to visit thanks to you. My wife always asks me how Audrey stays skinny with all the food she eats hopefully Samuel can answer that 😂
Thanks Tito! She passes whatever she cannot finish over to me...hahaha
Ive spent a lot of summers there in my youth
That is very cool to hear Stephen!
Sois encantadores y me encanta todos los vídeos son excepcionales !!! Muchos besitos 😘👄 😘👄
Muchas gracias Mariana!
Made my Saturday evening guys, thanks a lot! Super positive. Food looks very good. Any plans to do live stream any time soon?
Ah, thank you very much! A live stream sounds like a lot of fun.
Nice n beautiful 😍
Thank you! We just loved Tatamagouche. Such an underrated place to visit.
End of NS trip, oh too bad--I'm been loving vlog across the province. I know it is a big world but come back sometime. You probably were not in the area on the weekend but pancakes at the Sugar Moon Farm would have been one of your foodie highlights for sure.
Thank you very much! We just loved our 2 weeks in Nova Scotia. Oooh, those pancakes sound amazing!
At 13:57 you can see @daveyandsky filming their own video about Tatamagouche.
Che...SAMUEL para cuando un videito haciendo ALTO ASADO en algún bosque con picada previa ...con buen 🍷🍷y escuchando LED ZEPPELIN......??? 🤪♥️🇦🇷♥️ ...GOOD WEEKEND....🙋♂️
Muchas gracias Daniel!
@@samuelandaudrey pero no me dijiste Sam si vas a realizar el video ...🤷♂️😳🙋♂️🇦🇷
I'm moving on to Canada on December first. Will be looking into these videos then :)
That Quebec one you did years ago was lovely. Audrey in her fur hat :)
Thank you! How exciting. Where will you go?
@@samuelandaudrey Start in New Foundland and it will take six months. Only by book though but it will still be good :)
I will be going everywhere.
@14:42 there you go Sam... 3rd is the charm!
Hehehe...thanks
Hey guys, greetings from Australia! Loving your videos as always and can’t wait for the next one to come out. I have been waiting and waiting to see some videos with Daniel as he provides such fabulous content. Then...... I accidentally came across your other channel and there’s heaps of recent vids with Daniel over there but I can’t watch it because I don’t speak Spanish! Did you do any of these videos in English by any chance?
Thanks Melissa! We often do videos in both languages but often have different release schedules between the two channels.
Nice vid, making me homesick. We had a cottage in Pugwash when I was a kid and often went to Tatamagouche.
Thanks Ryan! Hope you can revisit home again soon. Lovely part of NS.
I guess maple baked beans were not on the supper menu. Hence, the pecan cheesecake.
Hehehe...had to settle for 'just the cheesecake' ;)
well all good things have to come to an end. However, the return trip with new adventures could be in next years plan :-)
Thanks Dad! We sure made the most of those 2 weeks. Would love to do a trip out there next year with you.
👏👌👍😊
Thanks!
Hopefully Covid will be over next year but I’ve really enjoyed your Canada series. You have a beautiful nation I hope to visit again. Are you going to teach in Korea again? Looking forward to the adventure.
Hi Sholin, we're glad you enjoyed the Canada series! No plans to teach in Korea again, though we really enjoyed that season in our lives. That being said, we would love to travel there again. 😊
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you!
@7:30 Wow i didn't knew thtat existed to be honest
Hope you can try it someday Leonardo! So tasty!
Funny...I had the identical Elmira stove, except...mine was electric :-}
Woah! That is so cool.
You coming to ca when the pandemic is over? The food looks good.
I hope we can Johnny! Thanks!
@@samuelandaudrey I hope we can meet one day in southern ca.
What about India's video?I am very very very very eagerly waiting to see
Thanks Ashoke! Will have an update about that soon :)
The last syllable of "Tatamagouche" rhymes with "push", not "gush" or "goosh". At least that's how I always heard it pronounced, lol
Oh, thanks for letting us know Ryan!
@@samuelandaudrey only a local world care. Pretty close, I've heard worse - how about "Tatamagoochie"? Lol
:-)
Thank you very much Charles!
Hi what city in Canada are you guys are from? yummy pizza!!!!!!
Thanks! I'm from Vancouver Island and Audrey is from the Toronto area.
Just curious, I can’t visit my 91 yr old mother in Halifax cause I live in BC but you had access in sept- October, is it because Tourism Nova Scotia were paying you?
It's because we completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine when we entered the Atlantic Bubble. We initially flew out to see my husband's parents in NB.
Not safe to bike it as it hugs highways shoulders in lots of areas.
Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks for noticing Gerd. We noticed as of yesterday our views and subscribers shooting up and were able to pinpoint the video and bot that is doing it by checking our analytics. It is from one of our older Malaysia videos coming from isharefans.vip and isharefans.com. We're in touch with UA-cam partner support trying to get it sorted out. It is really annoying and hopefully our subscriber numbers will return to normal soon.
Hey, you aren't social distancing!

I did not believe her either, what she said about the stone in the oven is a ( joke)
Putting the stone under the bed will burn the house down. Stupid advice don't do it please.
