This guy is just on another level. Could you imagine actually playing in a band with this guy.
Yep.....👍
Man i love this guys enthusiasm, big smile taking about guitars, im just like him, like little kids at Christmas, and that will never change for me, him to i can see, lol!!!
I'm completely on the same page. I have modified and personalized almost every guitar in my collection. Some just parts swaps, some refinish projects but i have one that is so unique ive never seen anything else like it anywhere. It started as a Squire from a flea market, and now its a truly one of a kind machine! Its become my faforite guitar ever. My friends have all made me offers that would be un heard of for a Squire, but i couldn't part with it if i tried. Its a great feeling to have something that individual and unique, knowing that its all due to your own imagination and skill.
You have an amazing guitar collection, sir enjoy your day, like watching your content.
Excellent history lesson 🤘!!
Interesting chapter of this video!!!! I still love your Ibanez snakeskin!!!!😍😍😍
Daaaaang Jay, made skills and what a gem of a guitar.

Eddie is the king in my book!! God Bless!
Welcome to the channel and thanks so much! Have an awesome day man! 🤘
Great to see you again Jay! You look really good. Hey what about 20 th century man lesson.
NIIIIIIIIIICE!
Cool video Jay, you yourself are an inspiring guy. I think Eddie would have approved of your "Franky".
Hey Jay I couldn’t agree with you more my brother! Many people try to build replica’s of Eddys guitar! I like to build tribute guitars. In the style of EVH, George Lynch, SRV. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely Brilliant! Incredible build and incredible shredi-knight skills. Like a fine wine, you just get better with age. Thanks for your positive attitude and always providing inspiration! Just awesome Bro!
Thank You Jay...Much Love to you...Always Greatly Appreciate your efforts!
Dang, you gotta buncha cool stuff.
I love to build my own guitars from parts and i did my first build from scratch making my own version of the Nuno N4 ;)
Great video Eddie was the greatest no doubt! I saw an interview with Eddie a long time ago and he said he got the idea for the 78 Strat (black and white stripes) from the intro to the old TV show The Outer Limits.
Ah interesting! I remember that show 😊 Have an awesome day!
Your one of the BEST guitar players i’ve ever seen!!!One question please…Any tips for a newbie besides practice, practice, practice?
Thanks. Thats very kind of you 🙏 besides practice.... yes, my tip would be - practice, practice, practice 😊 🙏 Just kidding. Its super important to keep practicing and playing. If there is one piece of advise I give people, its to learn something really well the first time, even if it takes a while, because then it will carry forward with you into everything else you play. Have an awesome day.
You're awesome Jay!
Thanks! Very kind of you! 🙏 Have an awesome day.
A great video sir! One of the best things about Ed and what helped me not only with playing music but guitars, amps, pedals... there are no rules! If it looks good, sounds good, plays good then it's good! The scales Ed used, the guitars, the amps were all broken rules of the norm! He created some amazing things and along with many others, the reason I even picked up a guitar in the first place.
Man, I love your channel!
Getting close to the infamous "Brown Sound" here.
Fantastic video! As a guitar builder/noodler myself, I love the guitars that you have created, very nice. And your Franky being personalized for you n small but important details, is awesome. FYI, I believe you stated that the famous Franky quarter is originally a 1977, it is actually a 1971. Cheers!
Ed was the King... a genius of his time. No one will ever take his place. The king is dead, long live the King!
necessity is the mother of invention. funny you mentioned guitar players building their lightsabers, for a couple reasons i won't get into here, but what i _will say_ is that i'm always saying i'm guitarded lol
I missed this one Jay ! You're such a great player ! What Franky is this ?
Built it myself 😉 Full video somewhere on my channel. Have an awesome day 🤘
@@jayguitar Thanks ! Will search for it
Dude!!! You have an awesome tone. That's a nasty sounding brown sound. And I mean that in a good way👍👍👍
It doesn't matter how cheap or well built it is its how u play it, it's only a tool to do a job, some pickups, sandpaper, paint, etc etc u can create whatever u like
I'll second that! Have an awesome day.
Question: Did you use the Hotone Ampero Stomp 2 for the tones in this video that you have put in the presets you made recently?
No, the tones were my amps - when i played the Eruption/other VH song medley I think that was my Jet CIty JCA22 head into a 1x12 cab with a 1978 Celestion G12-80 speaker (the audio is just what the camera mic pickup up). Somebody Get Me A Doctor was my custom built 1969 Plexi and I used impulse responses for the cab tones. The Marshall Plexi tone that I have in my Ampero pack is based on this tone 😊 🙏 Have an awesome day.
Thank you!
